GRADING PASSES, SATURDAY SESSIONS & FUNThings just seem to be getting better & better: student fitness is increasing across the board, TaeKwon-Do Skills are improving rapidly and the new students have got proper stuck in.

Wow, October was busy and it looks like November and

December will be too, lots to do: Much of our training in early

October was working towards a grading with Mr R Dennis (VI)

on the 17th then we moved in to competition training getting a

few people ready for the Vision TKD Championships on

November 14th.

Our social night on October 23rd was a great success with

more than 15 of us enjoying a night out in Banstead.

Students has surpassed my expectations in training and are

proving they understand hard work and some sacrifices make

for a great standard, all the way from 4 year olds up to our

Adults.

Results from grading held at Seaton House School - October 17th

Overall the performance from Banstead TaeKwon-Do was very good. I

am especially proud of the juniors who

excelled in the physical grading and their

theory tests. Aaron did a great job of grading

first and alone, well done to him. The best

performance of the day goes to Sam

Stockdale who was awarded a ‘Plus’ pass to

7th Kup, Green Tags, the only plus pass of

the day.

VISION TKD CHAMPIONSHIPSSunday November 14th will be the first competition that

some Banstead TaeKwon-Do students will enter. This is likely to

be a well organised event will lots of competitors right through

the grades. Students entering are:

• Sam Stockdale

• Aaron Duvigneau

Wish them luck and I expect they’ll all do very well and learn

a lot from the experience. It is being held at:

Donyngs Recreation Centre, Linkfield Lane, Redhill, Surrey

RH1 1DP on November 14th. If you can come along to watch

please do, entry to spectate is free. Contact me for more
