Joe Ventre initially agreed to step down at the end of the year after administrators — prompted by at least one parental complaint — took issue with the history teacher’s showing a segment from HBO’s “Last Week Tonight with John Oliver,” according to the New York Post. The segment, which originally aired several weeks ago, was a full-on send up of the GOP presidential candi- date. One of the l ines: “Donald Tru mp can seem appeal- ing until you take a closer look, much like the lunch buf- fet at a strip club.” No other presidential candidates were lampooned in the same way, News12 reported.
