RESPONSIBILITIES

◊ Supervise a crew of 30 plus of Fabricators, Welders and Heavy Machinery

Drivers

◊ Lead Quoter/ estimator for quotations offsite and onsite for all clients

◊ Organise and co-ordinate equipment, contractors, job scope, client invoice,

schedules and quoting.

◊ Maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control and its strict adherence

◊ Setup and maintain registers of weld registers, weld mapping and material

traceability

◊ Sound knowledge of Australian Standards and class requirements in both

Aluminium and steel

◊ Moor and service vessels and barges

◊ Unload vessel for gorgon container back freight and logistics

◊ Hands on leadership and management of engineering workshop, responsible

for the build and commissioning of multiple vessels/ structures.

◊ Prepare and control of effective construction schedules, coordinate resources,

materials and equipment.

◊ Manage and supervise apprentice and trade staff, including develop training

plans and performance reviews

◊ Manage inventory control processes

◊ Coordinate plant and equipment maintenance requirements

◊ Provide high level of technical expertise in the resolution of design and

construction issues as necessary

◊ Implement and monitor site safety compliance requirements, including follow

up and investigation of near misses and other reported hazards
