A Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by SDM Ghumarwin Sh. Sashi Pal Sharma at Sai Temple Berthin in which 37 people donated blood.

30.09.2018

Fest 2018 was organised for handicapped children at Ghumarwin. The Ghumarwin samiti organised Narayan Seva for these children.

On first Sunday of each month

» Medicines are distributed free of cost to the needy people at Anand Ghat Shri Satya Sai Free Medical Awareness Centre.

» Udaghoshna Diwas was celebrated in the entire district.

» Medical Camp at Badol Devi, 139 people were checked up.

DISTRICT CHAMBA » In Chamba there are 5 Samithies with devotional

singing unit. During the last year 252 unit bhajans

were held and Nagar sankirtans were held on every

Thursday and Sunday.

» 4 youth conferences were held at various places in Chamba in which about 320 youth participated.

» There are 8 Bal Vikas centers in which 4 are in rural areas. Regular hospital visits are done by seva dal to help the in patients.

» 10 Medical camps were conducted in which more than a 1000 patients got treatment.

» Narayan seva was conducted at 15 different   places during the year.

DISTRICT HAMIRPURSpiritual Activities:

 21st January 2018. Study Circle held at Dhaneta Samiti Dhaneta. 65 gents and 110 ladies participated from all the the samitis of district. In addition to local speakers, State Seva Coordinator Sh. Kundan Sharma also addressed the devotees.

 13th February 2018. Special night Bhajan on the occasion of Maha Shiv-Ratri by all Samities.

 25th February 2018 District level study circle held at Barara samiti Sapnehra, a remote village. 55 gents and 49 ladies were present.

 25th March 2018 Special Bhajan and speeches on Ram Navami festival by all samitis.

 12-13 May 2018. 2-days Sadhana Shivir at Bhakreri samiti Barsar with night stay at Bhakreri. All aspects of Sadhana pertaining to Swami’s programs were discussed explained and practiced to boost meditation in the devotees of district 65 gents and 68 ladies participated.

 19 August 2018. Study Circle at Nara samiti Galore in Swami’s Sadhana Centre. 41 gents and 56 ladies attended it.

 28 September 2018. In 93-hour long bhajan, 49 devotees from dist. Hamirpur participated on 28th September night at Anand Vilas Shimla .

 9-18 October. Daily Nagar Samkeertan and bhajan by samitis during Navratras.

 14-18 October. 93-hour long Akhand Gayatree Jap by Hamirpur samiti followed by havan and Narayan seva.

 Nearly 35 youngsters learning Veda chanting. 6-7 young gurus imparting training.

Educational Activities

 16 Bal Vikas centres running in the district including 3 in slum areas.

 6 May 2018. Speeches and cultural programs of Bal Vikas children in all the samitis.

 10th June 2018. District level Bal Vikas cultural program at Hamirpur. 14 gurus and 118 bal vikas children participated

including 45 children from slum areas. Parents and devotees from the district were also present.

 Special coaching classes for Bal Ashram children at Sujanpurtira.

 3 schools adopted under SSSVJ program.

Service Activities

 17th December 2017. District level medical camp held at Kangoo samiti Kangoo. 65 ladies and 72 gents were examined. Health awareness tips were given to the people present. Free medicines were distributed followed by Narayan seva.

 28th Feb-2nd March exhibition to highlight Swami’s educational programs, social activities and teachings was displayed in State level 4-day Holi Fair at Sujanpurtira.

 15 sevaks from the district Hamirpur rendered all India Prashanthi Seva from 15th March to 31st March.

 24th April. Bhajan, speeches and Narayan seva in all samitis of district on Maha Samadhi day.

 27th may 2018. Agriculture awareness and training camp held in adopted village Pansai samiti Dhaneta. Agriculture Scientists from Agriculture University Palampur campus Dhanpur were invited to address farmers. 35 farmers, local ladies and devotees of district were present.

 15th July to 31st July. Prashanthi Seva. 178 gents and 188 ladies from the district joined the Prashanthi Seva.

 15th August. Devotees of Hamirpur Samiti celebrated Independence Day with prisoners in the district jail Hamirpur.

 16th September 2018. Blood donation day. 32 people donated blood in Regional Hospital Hamirpur.

 2nd October 2018. Celebrated as 3. day by all the samitis.

Youth Activities

 8 April 2018. Youth conference held in a college at Bhoranj samiti Bhoranj. Youth of 2 colleges participated in it. It was also addressed by respected Smt. Arti Sharma state Seva Coordinator (mahila). Nearly 150 youth attended it.

 23 September 2018. Youth Conference held at Bhoranj samiti Bhoranj. Eminent speakers from the state addressed the youth. More than 35 youth and devotees attended it.

 Veda chanting proved to be youth binding force. Presently 7-8 groups youngsters are learning Veda chanting. 9 Veda chanters are going to Prashanthi Nilyam to take part in Spiritual Conference being held on 20-21st November.

 8 Prashanthi Security trained young men from Distt. Hamirpur perform Prashanthi security duty of 15 days each round the year.

incidentally, the day marked the 100 years of Shirdi Sai taking Mahasamadhi and 78 years of Sathya Sai declaration of Avtaarhood(20th October 1940)

Sai Temple Inauguration

Sri Sathya Sai Seva Sangathan in Mandi District is formed of mainly 3 Samities – Sadar Mandi Samiti, Sundernagar Samiti and Salapar Samiti. Along with these 3 samities, few activities are undertaken at village level also under the guidance of these samitis. Here is some brief description of the activities in the Mandi Distt.:

Mandi Sadar:

 Regular Bhajan on every Tuesday and Sunday at Bhajan Hall.

 Special Bhajans at the times of Navratras and festival times are conducted.

 Bal Vikas classes are taken at 2 centres, Bhajan Hall and Samkhetar Mohalla. A combined Bal Vikas Program on May 6, on the occasion of Ishwramma Day was conducted.

 Narayan Seva at Zonal Hospital every Tuesday.

 Handicap Seva (Narayan Seva in form of packed food) is undertaken every 1st and 3rd Saturday at Zonal Hospital.

 Free Medical camps were organised in rural area by Mandi Sadar Samiti 3 times in which 967 OPD for general and orthopedic patients was recorded. Free lab test – blood sugar, HB and ECG facility was provided free of cost.

 A district level Blood Donation Camp was organised in the month of September in which 26 units of blood were donated. This year’s camp was very helpful for the Dengue patients as the necessary platelets were immediately provided to the needy ones.

Sundernagar:

 Regular Bhajan at Bhajan Hall every Thursday and Sunday.

 Mahila Bhajan and Sunder Kand Path at devotee’s homes on rotational basis every Tuesday.

 Special Bhajan at the times of Navratras and festivals

 A Bal Vikas Guru Training camp was organised at district level in which existing Bal Vikas Gurus from all over the district and other devotees participated.

 Bal Vikas Program on the eve of Eshwaramma Day, in which Bal Vikas students of Baggi village Bal Vikas centre performed.

 Free Eye camp was organised every year by Sundernagar Samiti. This year a total of 357 OPD was recorded with

free Medicines and specs number checkup. 72 patients were operated and free lens were provided along with bedding, food and black specs.

 Narayan Seva at the time of camp was also done for all the OPD patients and their attendants.

 Participation of Samiti members in District level Programs like Veda Training, Blood Donation and Sai Temple Inauguration.

Salapar:

 Regular Bhajan Every Thursday

 Special Bhajans on the festival days.

 Free Eye camp was organised every year by Salapar Samiti. This year a total of 322 OPD was recorded with free Medicines and specs number checkup. 47 patients were operated and free lens were provided along with bedding, food and black specs.

 At village Mandir Tanda, regular Bal Vikas classes are being run under the guidance of Mandi and Sundernagar Samities

 A good number of devotees from Mandir Tanda take part in every activity by Mandi Sadar and Sundernagar Samities, whether it is Blood Donation or Veda Training, Eye Camp or Bal Vikas Guru Training Camp or Sai Temple Inauguration.

 The bal Vikas Guru from Mandir Tanda is also learning Veda in effective way

 A healthy number of devotees participate in Prashanti Seva also.

 A special function at Mandir Tanda was organised for the momento presentation to Prashanti Seva and preparing them for the next year.

 Another Bal Vikas Centre is being run at Baggi Village.

DISTRICT NAHAN

 On Friday the 12th of Jan. fruits and sweets were distributed in all the wards of Dr. Y. S. Parmar Medical College and Hospital

 On the eve of the festival of Lohri prasadam was distributed along with Baba’s photo and Vibhuti.

 On Feb18th a free eye check up camp was held in Astha Senior Citizens Day Care Centre Pucca Tank Nahan with Sanjivni Eye Health Care Centre Nahan and Sanjivni Hospital Ambala City in which 197 eye patients were attended. Free Medicines were distributed. Dr. O. Z P. Arya M. S. (Opthal) Retd. Civil surgeon Haryana led the team.

 On 1st March free eye check camp was conducted at Panchayat Bhawan Dadahu by Dadahu Samiti. 181 patients were attended by Sanjivni Eye Hospital Team.

 On March 25th a free eye check up camp was held at Shiv Mandir Dharamshalla Paonta Sahib by Paonta Samiti. In which 183 eye patients were benefitted.

 A Free Eye Check camp was held at Agriculture Community Centre, Nahan by The Sanjivni Eye Hospital benefitting 172 patients on 8th April 2018.

 A multipurpose medical camp was organised for the Elderly in Senior Citizens day Centre Pucca Tank, Nahan by the Team of the Doctors of Sri Sai Multi Specialty Hospital, Nahan on 20th April benefitting 49 patients.

 A free eye check up camp at Sanatan Mandir Dharamsala on 22nd April in connection with Sai Aradhana Diwas benefitting 169 patients.

 On Sai Aradhna Diwas 24th April. Hospital Seva was undertaken in Dr. Y. S. Parmar Medical College & Hospital.

 A General Health check up Camp was also held by the Paonta Sahib Sai Samiti in connection with Aradhna Diwas at Divya Mandir Dharamsala under the Care of 5 specialists from Swamy Indresh Medical College & Hospital Dehradun on22nd April benefitting over 180 patients.

 During a week- long celebration, inter school quiz contest,  painting competition and bhajan competition was held and appreciated.

 A special  awareness programme about yoga and active participation in the district level yoga day celebration on  21st June in our historic chowgan ground with thousands of local participants.

 A Free Orthopaedic checkup camp was held in Hindu Ashram Nahan by the team of Dr. Manit Arora of Fortis Chandigarh benefitting 120 patients on 29th in July.

 A visit to the Central Middle Jail Nahan was taken up. Naryan seva along with bhajans , vibhuti  and   Sai Literature was given.

 Organization of an exhibition based on the theme of the life of Swami at Shoolini Fair (Himachal State Fair).

 Distribution of water to visiting members of public by the Sai Youth Sevadal at the Shoolini Fair.

1st July,2018- “Medical Camp”

 A free medical camp was organised at Village Jaunaji, Distt. Solan. Free medicines were distributed among the patients, followed by Narayan Seva.

8th July, 2018- “Tree Plantation Programme”

 A “Tree Plantation Programme” was organised by the SolanSamiti at Happy Valley, Solan.

1st September, 2018- “Janmashthmi Celebrations”

 To celebrate the occasion of Janmashthmi, painting competitions on the theme of “Lord Krishna and his Life” were organised at five schools adopted by the SolanSamiti.

16th September, 2018- “Blood Donation Camp”

 A blood donation camp was organised by the SolanSamiti at SaiSanjeevani, Solan, in which 45 donors donated blood.

2nd October, 2018- “Gandhi Jayanti”

 To Commemorate the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti, a cleanliness drive was launched by the SolanSamiti in Children’s Park, Solan, among other places, followed by morning bhajan at District Jail.

20th October, 2018- “Avtarhood Day”

 An interfaith conference was organised at SaiSanjeevani, Solan, on the Avtarhood Declaration Day, in which scholars from different faiths to speak on the theme of “Sarva Dharma Sambhava”.

22nd October, 2018- “Karvachauth Celebrations”

 Organisation of Karvachauth Celebrations in which 31 women labourers were given sweaters, Suhagi, and food packets, followed by SaiBhajan.

28 October, 2018- “Medical Camp”

 A free medical camp was organised at Village Gaura, Distt. Solan, in which free medical supplies were distributed among the patients, followed by Narayan Seva.

DISTRICT UNA Â Sri Sathya Sai  Dispensary at Una runs every Sunday 30

patients which are treated.

 Narayan Seva is conducted on every Ist Sunday of the month in Kushat Ashram Una .80 families are served with food, clothes and utensils.

 On the occasion of Maha Samadhi of Swami a Narayana seva was held at Una on 24/04/2018. 500 persons were served after bhajan.

 Maa Eshawaramma Day a Bal Vikas Programme held on 06/05/2018 in all Samities.

 Global Blood Donation Camp was organised at Una in which 21 persons donated Blood.

 Nagar Sankitan is organised on every Thursday.

 Study Circle is organised on Last Thursday of every month.
