Dear Brothers and Sisters, Sairam

Once again a Holy New Year filled with Love and Seva for the members of the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations.

On the holy Makara Sankranti day, with the divine blessings of our Divine Master, I am delighted to inform that we have launched the Sri Sathya Sai National Cricket League (SSSNCL) for the Sri Sathya Sai Unity Cup . Our brother, the Legendary Cricketer Sri. VVS Laxman along with Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust members, Sri K. Chakravarthy, Sri R J Rathnakar, Sri G S R C V Prasada Rao, Dr. Mohan released the Sri Sathya Sai T20 series Playing rules, Brochure and Poster. The same are attached for your information and sharing to the grass roots level to popularize and get into action of implementation.

You are all aware that in India – Cricket is religion which is followed in great dimensions by the Youth of our Country. With the tagline – Youth for the Spirit of Unity , the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, India will use this platform to enthuse the youth of our organisation to participate in large numbers and bring in the spirit of unity among the youth of the Country. Through the SSSNCL we want to integrate Human Value and Ethics in the Youth thereby also awakening the spirit of Seva from within to develop Individual and National Character at large. Another important mission of this program is to promote in youth that Life is a Game to be played facing challenges to realize their dreams, and to spread the message of Love and Togetherness in the society.

Please read through the elaborate playing rules attached herewith.

I have constituted an Organizing Committee of Cricketers from within the Organisation who have a thorough knowledge of the game and have played at a very senior level in the country.

The schedule of the matches should be as follows:

1. The matches should commence from April 26th soon after Swami Aradhana Mahostvam

2. The Inter Samithi matches must be completed in all the states by the end of May 31st, 2020 3. The District Level matches should be completed in the month of June and the State Team details of the final 14 Players with their details /photo identity in PDF format should be sent to sssncl@ssssoindia.org by June 30th, 2020 4. The Zonal level matches will be held in July 2020. Once the details of the State teams are received, the Zonal Level matches schedule will be released by the Organizing Team by July 5th, 2020. The Matches at the Zonal Level will start on July 18th and will complete by August 9th . 5. The Topper of each zone will move to the Semi Finals and Final will reach Prasanthi Nilayam on August 21st Morning. The Semi Finals will be played on August 22nd and the Grand Final on August 23rd 6. All arrangements for stay at Prasanthi Nilayam for the players will be taken care by the SSSSO India. 7. The travel arrangements of the State Teams / their kits etc should be taken care by the State Organisations. 8. Needless to say, this series will be absolutely professional and we pray to Bhagawan to grant His Divine Blessings on all the teams to perform their best 9. I am attaching the Logo of the tournament in case you prefer to get T-shirts made for your team at the Zonal Level, you are free to do so . 10. The Organizing Team will nominate one Observer for each of the Zonal Matches. For the Inter district tournaments, the State President should nominate Officials for each of their matches and ensure that the spirit of the game and Love for Swami is the undercurrent for every match. Keeping this in view, here are some advisories:

The following procedures need to be followed at all matches before the start of the match:

1. Omkaram 3 times 2. Bhajans – 3 – Ganesha and two Sarvadharma Bhajan 3. Sai Gayathri 3 times 4. Talk on Moral Values – not more than 5 minutes by a good and energetic speaker 5. Introduction of the Teams and then National Anthem

The following procedures need to be followed at all matches at the end of a match:

1. Mangala Arathi
