TRANSCRIPT

birth through three years

old. What a privilege it is

to be a part of each of these

girls lives as they are

making life-altering

decisions for their future.

I have spent countless

hours praying with and

mentoring these young

women through each of

these decision-making

processes. I believe that the

development of these

relationships will extend

far past their days here at

the Bible college.

I look forward to hearing

about their new adventures

this fall when I return after

my short stint of home

service this summer.

After many months of

prayer, conversations &

questions, one of the gals

from the dorm recently

accepted Christ as her

personal Lord and Savior. It

was such a blessing to see

how God began to draw her

to Himself, using life's many

challenges and difficulties.

This doesn’t take away those

challenges and struggles,

but it has given her new

hope and joy she hadn’t

known before.

This news comes on the

heels of the healing and re-

covery of our beloved

Professor Gene Horst as he

has returned home to

continue his recovery efforts.

God is still at work on our Campus.

young gals are using the

tools they have learned to

minister in other areas of

the world. One of the girls

has been accepted to Bethel

nursing school this fall, and

is looking forward to sharing

her faith with others in the

bring my support up to 100%.

That’s an average dinner out

for a family of 4!

Because my support shortage

still continues to be critical, I

am making plans to return to

Praise the Lord for

the additional

recently added, 2

new prayer

you pray about

joining my team as

or financial partner? Both

are greatly needed in order

field.

What remains to make up

this slice of the pie? ONLY

for these plans and arrange-

the last frontier is far from

being complete, but it takes

students to be able to see

how well Gene was

progressing. Saturday

was spent tubing,

snowboarding, playing

broom ball and

board games,

and enjoying

more food than

we could imag-

ine! It was a

wonderful time

for the faculty,

staff and stu-

dents to enjoy

the brief break

from classes.

Approximately 40 mem-

bers of ABC’s family

attended this year’s

retreat located for the

first time at Birchwood

Christian Camp, about

30 min. north of

Anchorage. Friday was a

day of shopping, bowling

and visiting with one of

our faculty members who

had been in the hospital

since early February

after a fall from the roof

of his home. What a

treat it was for the

Winter Retreat or Spring Break?

This year’s annual winter

retreat had to be moved

from February to early

March. Due to a wonderful

personal gift and answered

prayer, my daughter Amber

decided to spend her spring

break in Alaska! She joined
