How to bake

a cake

“Bizcochuelo”

Ingredients Flour and spray (to prepare the container)Powdered sugar220 cc milk, 3 eggs and the mixMaterials:Mixer, container, spoon, knife, oven, bowl, measuring cup

Turn on the oven to heat it. You shouldput it in medium, not high, not too low

Spray the container

Add flour

Spread it evenly in the container. All the surface

should be covered with flour.

Add the three eggs and the milk together in a bowl.

Beat the eggs and the milk until they are blended.

Add the mix in three installments. Add once and beat until you can’t see any of the mix. Then add more and do the same.

You should beat for 3 minutes if you are beating with a whisk beat but if you are using a fork, you should beat for 5 minutes.

You should whisk to the ribbon (we call it “Punto cinta”. That is when you take out the whisk and the dough falls evenly, smoothly.

Pour the mix into the container.

Take the mix to the oven. Put it in the middle of the oven. Don’t open the door or it would deflate. Leave it there for 40 minutes (sometimes more, from

40 to 60 minutes depending on the oven).

To check if it is ready, introduce a fork in the four sides of the cake. If it comes out clean. It’s ready!

Let it cool for 5 minutes

Take it out of the container and with the help of a butter knife, take the cake out of the container.

Turn it over again and sprinkle it withpowdered sugar. Ready to enjoy!

Varieties

These bizcochuelos can be eaten without nothing inside, or you can fill them with cream, fruits, dulce de leche, chocolate, etc.

For example, the typical birthday cake for kids is bizcochuelo with dulce de leche inside. And outside you put frosting with the characters they love.

You can open the cake in the middle and add dulce de leche by spreading it with a butter knife. Then put the cap back on and you

can eat a filled cake!
