“Fulfilling our Destiny”

Now there was no water for the community, and the people gathered in opposition to Moses and Aaron. 3 They quarreled with Moses… 6 Moses and Aaron went from the assembly to the entrance to the tent of meeting and fell facedown, and the glory of the LORD appeared to them…. Will you fulfill the destiny God has for

your life?

. God had a perfect plan for Moses to lead the people out of Egypt

and into the Promised Land, but he stopped just short of reaching the completion of his God-given destiny.

There are several things we can apply to our own lives from this

Old Testament account:

1. Behavior that Israelites displayed2. Behavior that Moses displayed3. We have to learn to follow God’s

voice and act accordingly

They quarreled with Moses and said, “If only we had died when our brothers fell dead before the LORD! 4 Why did you bring the LORD’s community into this wilderness, that we and our livestock should die here? 5 Why did you bring us up out of Egypt to this terrible place? It has no grain or figs, grapevines or pomegranates. And there is no water to drink!”

Anong reklamo meron tayo ngayon?

Anong wala sa atin na pwede natin i-reklamo sa Diyos?

Numbers 14:11

1. Behavior that Moses displayed…

11 Then Moses raised his arm and struck the rock twice with his

staff. Water gushed out, and the community and their livestock

drank.

They went out before the people and spoke to them, but then in frustration and anger

Moses took the rod and struck the rock not once but twice.

He didn’t wait to see if the water would come out after he struck it one time.

God wants to meet our needs and sometimes He will meet it EVEN

when we do it our own way

Sometimes we quarrel with man when our real argument is with

God

3. We have to learn to follow God’s voice and act accordingly…
