The Audit and Risk Committee approves the internal audit plan, the external auditors engage-

ment letter and terms, nature and scope and the audit fee. The internal audit charter, internal

audit plan and internal audit conclusions are similarly reviewed and approved by the Audit

and Risk Committee.

Investment and Finance Committee

The Investment and Finance Committee comprises four independent non-executive directors,

one non-independent non-executive director, and two executive directors, namely; the Chief

Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer.

The committee reviews the investment strategy and makes recommendations to the Board.

It evaluates and approves business cases for new ventures and projects, approves criteria and

guidelines for investments and approves investments within its delegated authority. Those

investments outside of the committee’s delegated authority are recommended to the Board

for approval.

BRIEFNew payoff line to be developed that expresses how focused Broadband Infraco is on growth, not only for the organization, but for the public as well. After much consideration, as well as vigorous strategic and brainstorm sessions, the line “Connect. Growth, UNLOCKED” was born. The next step required for visual iconography to be created that complemented the new line. A fibre optic ‘tree’ was developed which was rolled out into different marketing material.

BRIEF

Other elements covered in the campaign were to organized events, PR, branding, gifting and catering.

educating, protecting, promoting and advancing them in their profession.

BRIEFThe brief required the conceptualizing, laying out, writing, designing and printing of the 2012 NUM Annual Report. As 2012 also marked NUM’s 30th anniversary, an additional need was for the annual report to capture and illustrate the journey NUM has embarked on for the past 30 years. This was achieved by using vintage black & white photography enhanced by the use of the colour red, for more vividness and presence.

Established in 1999, in efforts to consolidate and coordinate the State’s information technology resources. SITA is committed to leveraging Information Technology (IT) as a strategic resource for government, and uses IT to support the delivery of e-Government

services to all citizens.SITA

BRIEFEach year SITA hosts the Govtech Conference Event, and Flash has had the privilege of conceptualizing, designing, branding, printing and applying collateral at the venue, consecutively from 2010 right through to 2012.

Flash also specializes in branding exhibition stands and has forged a good relationship with several reputable suppliers that build stands. Shown above is the SITA Innovation Centre Stand showcased at the 2012 GovTech. The stand expressed how SITA is making significant steps towards helping the South African citizen and government communicate easier, better and more cost effectively. Additionally, 4 Corporate AV’s were created and played during the event, including a 3D video which was a first of it’s kind for any government department.

BRIEFThis campaign required for pull up banners to be conceptualized, designed and printed for SITA’S Youth Development Programme.

BRIEFA Conference booklet was also conceptualized, designed and printed for the 2012 GovTech event.

BRIEFThe brief also required for a multi-pronged campaign to be developed, celebrating the organization’s ten years in existence. The strategy was to create a bold look portraying a strong element of trust, leveraging from the organization’s milestones achieved thus far. The campaign logo was also simplified to predominantly black and green, further emphasizing the nature and attitude of the company’s employees and systems. The roll-out extended to a large print campaign, e-mailers, branded apparel and competition material.

BRIEFThis brief required for a magazine, “TRAILBLAZER”, to be conceptualized, designed, laid out and printed. This magazine is produced on a quarterly basis, and Flash had the responsibility of developing the look and feel, the lay out, the sourcing of images and producing all campaign adverts.

BRIEFThe task required for Flash to design, manufacture and install signage in and around National Department of Health offices countrywide. The signs included Light Boxes, Pylons, Fabricated Illuminated Signs, Directional Signs and Sandblast to name a few.

BRIEFFlash was tasked with developing a print campaign that expresses what RMB is about and what they strive for as a group. Thus a poster campaign was created and printed utilizing RMB’s internal staff to drive the campaign message.

BRIEFFlash was tasked with developing PETZETAKIS’s Corporate Identity Manual. This comprised carrying out the logo on the print material, right through to digital, as well as on stationary company apparel.
