WEEKEND HIDE AWAY

When summer ends, we return to the archipelago. The air is clearer, the sea noisier, the shadows

longer and nature more colorful. Everything is quiet and still. It is the time when the rocky islands take a

holiday – and we love it. Fall is not the end of summer – it's the beginning of everything. It offers a fresh

start, especially when it comes to style. At last, we get to dress again in wonderful natural materials,

sharp silhouettes, and well-cut layers and tonal pieces. Garments that work in many different contexts,

especially for a long-awaited autumn weekend in the archipelago. Here the days go by so wonderfully

slow. And thank goodness. It means that autumn will last that much longer.

BOOMER ANGHOME

We have long played with the idea of launching a collection for the home. The philosophy and style that

characterizes our clothes fits so well into the home environment. This season, we are launching a collection

that includes bathrobes, towels, beach towels and softly braided knit throws and cushions. Even the colors

have all the hallmarks of Boomerang’s signature style – off white and indigo hues in monochrome and

stripes dominate the launch collection. Welcome home to Boomerang.

L A Z Y LUXURY The autumn women’s collection is well dressed, influenced by the sporty and functional. It’s elegant

yet relaxed, simple and obvious – just how we want to dress this fall. The materials we yearn to wear come

from nature: the softest mohair, wool and luxuriously tailored jersey garments. It is also the season when

we are newly in love with the classic lumberjack style that is so commonly seen on college campuses.

ALL IN THE MIX Contrasts and opposites create the autumn look for him. The style is rebellious yet well behaved

at the same time. Neat bow ties or neckties in muted tones are matched with white sneakers. Soft, natural

knits are worn with smart, functional garments, and of course a few pairs of well-fitting jeans. All of it is

held together by a color scheme that sets the tone for a well-dressed fall.

Your old garments are labeled with a SSNC Good Environmental tag and sold as

Boomerang Vintage. The garments that are not sold again are used in furniture for our

Boomerang Home line or reused in other ways, such as pocket linings in our chinos.

MRS BLUEEven the autumn women’s collection has the feeling of blue. We flirt with classic men’s garments that are distinguished

in sober grays. A slim cigarette pant and vest in light gray wool flannel define the look, while a well-cut peacoat, so timeless in style

yet modern in fit, complete it. The garments are adorned with playful dots or classic pinstripes, and the materials are luxurious

cashmere and merino wool. The white shirt can only be described as this season’s love. Wear it impeccably pressed or

delightfully rumpled depending on the mood and occasion. Complete with a scarf and a pair of stylish black leather gloves.

BOOMER ANG E YE WE AR In autumn 2014, we are launching Boomerang Eyewear. It is a 15-piece eyewear collection in a variety of different

colors. The designs are timeless and minimalist with a Scandinavian edge. And there are a number of small

details that give the collection its own distinctive identity. We have, of course, included Boomerang Effect in our

eyewear collection. When you want to switch frames, you can leave them in the store and receive a discount on

a new pair. The old frames are donated to Vision for All, a nonprofit organization that provides glasses to those

from difficult economic situations, offering them an opportunity to study and have a better life.

MR BLUE Blue has been close to our hearts ever since Boomerang’s inception in 1976. And this fall, we feel a

little extra love for the color – preferably matched tone-on-tone with other blue hues. The collection

includes classic favorites like the lightly lined duffle coat, and the cable-knit cashmere sweater worn over

a crisp white shirt. The reversible down jacket in aqua flare pattern – with its blue interior – worn over a

tailored pinstriped blazer is one of the season’s favorite combinations. Autumn is glorious in blue.

COMFORTABLE CL ASSICS Down jackets are a signature Boomerang garment and have been around since the beginning. Each season, the

collection is developed and updated in materials, fits, colors and details. Autumn’s double-breasted model, inspired by

a captain’s jacket, is femininely figure flattering and wonderfully warm. Wear it with cardigans and sweaters in rib and

bouclé. And of course the jeans – simple in style and well cut – are also one of our signature pieces.

ATHLE TIC ELEG ANCE Athletic fashion continues to influence our collections. In addition to classic hoodies,

cotton jersey jackets and pants are two of fall’s favorites. We think that sporty always looks its best

when combined with the more dressy. A piece we really love this season is a thin shirt jacket.

Wear it with a shirt or match it unexpectedly with a well-cut blazer.

STORYFall and winter 2014 belong to the white shirt – whether we’re dressing up for an occasion or just wearing it at home.

A well-fitting and well-made shirt in pure cotton adds a sense of simplicity and elegance.

The White Shirt Story contains five different shirt models. They are menswear-inspired and button-down,

as well as feminine and elegant with a wrap-around back. The materials are crisp cotton, cotton poplin with stretch,

and sheer silk and cotton voile. Decorative details include pleating at the chest, inspired by a classic tuxedo shirt.

To create playfulness and variety, there are also two types of detachable collars – a decorative collar in beautiful

lace and another in crisp white. This season, the white shirt has many forms. And we love them all.
