BECOMING A WOMAN LEADER IN MIRIAM

COLLEGE

A GOOD LEADER …

They are not alone.Truly great leaders believe in Someone

greater that themselves.Prayer is not the way out it is a way through.

SEEK THE GUIDANCE OF GOD

Affirmative, leaders make everyone feel valuable, leaders are the first to recognize the achievement of others.

IS AFFIRMATIVE

It is to understand and work with people.So, they look with insight beyond the smiles

or frowns-all the way to the heart.An effective leader can read people the way

others read newspaper.

UNDERSTAND PEOPLE

Good communicators leave no doubt about the meaning of their message.

A GOOD COMMUNICATOR

Always sees the day as sunny, never partly cloudy.

OPTIMISTIC

A good leader is quickly to forgive and willing to ask forgiveness.

Don't need to be told when they're wrongPeacemakers“Don't have time to be bitter. I only have time

to be better."

FORGIVING/FORGIVE QUICKLY

They listen to the ideas of their associates.Leaders learn because they listen.

LISTENS

They see things that don't exist and bring them to life.

They don't just think outside the box. They live outside the box!

A good leader look at life through binoculars of possibility.

CREATIVE/OPENMINDED

They're willing to move forward without regard to the personal cost.

They don't put off until tomorrow what they can decide today.

ENABLES GOOD DECISION

Time as their most precious commodity.They make its minutes and seconds slaves in

order to accomplish their purpose because an effective leader lord over time.

A leader considers killing time to be a capital crime.

They relax, but not dally.

IS GENEROUS IN HER TIME/VALUE TIME

Leaders don't draw attention to themselves. They express their appreciation for the

contributions of others.
