Objective• Shadow Carter Morrow, construction manager and contractor, and gain insight about: planning and coordinating jobsite activities, monitoring supplies, supervising workers, preparing budgets and estimates, reporting to homeowner services, reading and reviewing production scheduling and architectural plans, receiving and sending invoices, etc.

• Owns Bayside Building Company LLC (Bay Homes), Partners with H2 Field Services LLC, and works for Madison Homes as construction managers for each

• Currently works Bayside Building and H2 work at Walraven Development in Round Hill and Holmes jobsite and Smoot jobsite for Madison Homes in McLean – these were visited most during senior project

Walraven Lot #5 Week 1 •Met with electrician and HVAC trades, discussed location of sockets, vents, panels within framing

• Ordered electrical panel, called roofers regarding the next week’s inspection – shown how to do apply for inspection online, called for new site dumpster, met with Walraven development landscape manager – Mark Ferland

Walraven Lot #5 Week 2• Met with and walked through 2 inspections: HVAC/Mechanical inspection and plumbing. Electrical inspection was scheduled for next day (27th).

• Final negotiation of garage door price and price installation – scanned in papers to send to main office.

Walraven Lot #5 Week 2• Sat in on framing inspection. Measured and marked where outside trim (cornice) would be laid out by framers. Set up plans and plan table.

•Sent out insulation inspection via Loudoun County website. Did a walk through after passed mechanical inspection on electrical box in basement.

Walraven Lot #5 Week 3• Upstairs insulation completed, spoke with drywall crew who began on first floor gluing and screwing drywall sheets, spoke with framing crew regarding sloped front porch

• Spoke with contractors regarding events needed to be done today – sweep streets, order stainless steel nails, clean leftover drywall, finish basement, etc.

• Checked basement for flooding due to large amounts of rain – no flooding. Moved exterior cornice boards and floor boards out of rain and into garage. Emailed roofers to finish shingles on garage roof. Swept streets for client walk-through.
