Alfresco Skill Level: Intermediate Finished Quilt Size: 80” x 96”

Sewing1. Refer to the color photo and sew 17 triangles into a row. Make 10 rows. 2. Sew the rows together. The top and bottom of the quilt will have an even edge, the sides of the quilt will have a zig-zag edge. Trim the triangles making the zig-zag edge on the opposite sides of the quilt using your rotary cutter and ruler to straighten the sides.3. Sew the vertical fabric D borders to opposite sides of the quilt, and the fabric D horizontal borders to the top and bottom of the quilt.4. Sew the fabric B vertical borders to opposite sides of the quilt and the fabric B horizontal borders to the top and bottom of the quilt.

Finishing5. Layer the quilt top, batting and backing. Baste, then quilt the layers together.6. Sew the binding strips together end to end, fold over lengthwise and sew to quilt top. Turn binding to back of quilt and stitch in place.

Cutting Method: Cut the width of fabric (wof) strips then use your ruler to measure and mark the wrong side of the fabric on one of the strips with a pencil to make the triangles. Stack all of the strips in each fabric pattern and cut on the marked lines.
