Air operated double-diaphragmpump series for general industrialand process applications

Ingersoll-Rand’s IndustrialProductivity Solutions division (IR ARO) has added to its Expert Series (EXP) of diaphragm pumps with thelaunch of the new air operateddouble-diaphragm PW10A-X-Xunits.

The new pumps offer end users across various generalindustrial and process duties aflow rate capability of up to 227 l/min (60 USgpm).

Constructed of aluminium witha simplified five-piece major air valve design that only hasfour working parts and contains patented stall-freetechnology, the new pump line should offer end users

enhanced reliability, lessdowntime, and easiermaintenance procedures claimthe manufacturers. The productis offered with a five-yearwarranty so the makers areobviously confident about theabilities of the pump.

In addition, the new pump linehas Simulshift™ valvetechnology and QuickDump™valves, which, according to themanufacturers, will respectivelyensure a smooth flow and theprevention of pump stalling dueto ice build-up.

The pump is specified asstandard with a 3.81 cm (1.5”)fluid inlet and an outletmeasuring 3.18cm (1.25”). The new PW10A-X-X air operated double-diaphragm pump line from IR ARO

can achieve a maximum flow rate of 227 l/min (60 USgpm).
