Hutheesing Jain Temple AhmedabadThe construction of the temple was initiated originally planned by Sheth Hutheesing Kesarisinh, a wealthy Ahmedabad traderwho died at 49. The construction was supervised and completed by his wife Shethani Harkunvar Ba. The total cost wasapproximately Rs. 8 lakh then a major sum. The temple is dedicated to Lord Dharmanatha, the fifteenth Jain Tirthankar. TheHutheesing Temple was created a hundred and fifty years ago by hundreds of artisans during the time a terrible drought hitGujarat State in India, compelling hundreds of skilled artisans to migrate to Ahmedabad in search of work. The only means oflivelihood for these migrant artisans was the Hutheesing Temple which supported them for a period of years. The temple apartfor its rich architectural is also known for rainwater harvesting structure.

Gandhi Ashram AhmedabadMahatma Gandhi established this Ashram in 17 June 1917. Gandhiji had driven all the major activities of independence as wellas upliftment of the society from this Ashram which was popularly known as Sabarmati Ashram. He stayed in the ashram forThirteen years before he finally proceeded for a march to Dandi to break the salt law on 12 March 1930. Before starting themarch to Dandi, Gandhiji declared that he will not return to the ashram before the independence of the country. It is believedthat this is one of the ancient ashram sites of Dadhichi Rishi who had donated his bones for a righteous war. The Sabarmati

ashram is sited between a prison and a crematorium, and Gandhi believed that a satyagrahi has invariably to go to either place.Gandhi Ji said, "This is the right place for our activities to carry on the search for truth and develop fearlessness, for on one sideare the iron bolts of the foreigners, and on the other the thunderbolts of Mother Nature."

Sidi Saiyad Mosque AhmedabadThe Sidi Saiyad Mosque, popularly known as Sidi Saiyad ni Jali locally, built in 1572 is one of the most famous mosques ofAhmedabad. It was built by Sidi Saeed or Sidi Saiyad, an Abyssinian in the retinue of Bilal Jhajar Khan, general in the army ofthe last Sultan Shams-ud-Din Muzaffar Shah III of the Gujarat Sultanate. The mosque is entirely arcuate and is famous forbeautifully carved ten stone latticework windows (jalis) on the side and rear arches. The delicate “tree of life” motif has becomethe distinguishing symbol of Ahmedabad.

Bhadra Fort AhmedabadBhadra Fort is situated in the walled city area of Ahmedabad. It was built by Ahmad Shah I in 1411. With its well carved royalpalaces, mosques, gates and open spaces, it was renovated in 2014 by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) andArchaeological Survey of India (ASI) as a cultural centre for the city. Inside the Fort There are Clock Tower, Bhadra kali MataTemple and Local Market.

Ellis Bridge AhmedabadEllis Bridge is a century old bridge situated in Ahmedabad. It Connect the western and eastern parts of the city across theSabarmati River. This bowstring arch truss bridge was the first bridge of Ahmedabad constructed in 1892. This 120-year-oldbridge has become an iconic landmark and a symbol of Ahmedabad.

Sanskar Kendra AhmedabadSanskar Kendra is a museum at Ahmedabad. Designed by the architect Le Corbusier. It is a city museum depicting history, art,culture and architecture of Ahmedabad. Another Patang Kite Museum is there which includes a collection of kites andphotographs. There is also very informative Film Museum in Same Premises. Museum have various sections related to historyof city, art, photography, Mahatma Gandhi, Indian independence struggle, various religious communities of City.

Kankaria Lake AhmedabadThe historical Kankaria Lake having a periphery of about 2.5 Km has been the symbol of Ahmadabad’s identity since almost500 years. The historic lake around an island garden called Nagina wadi has been an evergreen outing place for the people ofAhmedabad. It offered a complete entertainment centre. It was completed in 1451 during the reign of Sultan Qutb-ud-DinAhmad Shah II.
