How is the Data Protection Act linked to Tesco?

The data protection is linked to Tesco as the principles of the data protection act are these:

• Obtained and processed fairly and lawful• Held and used only for the purpose • Details will not get out top anybody else

As the data protection helps keep customers information on the Tesco website as customers can order products from Tesco on their website but in order to buy the products and get them delivered to your house you will need to provide your details such as :

• Your name• Your address• Telephone• E-mail address • Occupation

So none of the above will get out to the public or anybody else will find out except Tesco as them are the ones that are delivering to your address.
