Prayer intention for the month of July 2020

Pope Francis asks everyone to pray that

today’s families may be accompanied with love, respect and guidance.

The family ought to be protected.

It faces many dangers: the fast pace of life, stress;

parents forget to play with their children.

The Church needs to encourage families and

stay at their side, helping them to find ways that

allow them to overcome all of these difficulties. We pray that today’s

families may be accompanied with love,

respect and guidance, and especially, that they may be protected by the State.

Amen.

Please can you help ?! We are now accepting food donations on Sundays and Wednesdays 4-6pm at our church For the needed items please see poster on our web page or go to https://www.vineyardcommunity.org or contact Birgit 07486908002 Thank you to those who have so graciously donated foods and money - many neighbours around our church area have contributed as well. As of yet we have donated £90 and lots of fresh and imperishable foods. The Foodbank currently supports 30+ addresses in Richmond as well as few door customers. Foodbank Richmond is in exchange with other sister foodbanks to share their supplies. Please be aware that increasingly whole families need the support and we would like to ask you to remember to pack relevant food items like sweet bread spreads, Muesli's, milk as well as fresh fruit and vegg for finger food.

Opening the Church for Private Prayer We are allowed to open the church for private prayer on the following days:

We need two people to be there when the church is open. If you are willing to help also on other days with the staffing please contact Fr Peter Andrews

When the church is open you will be asked to follow these guidelines: 1. Keep a social distance (2 metres) from other people not of your

household. 2. Sanitize your hands on entering and leaving the church. 3. Wear a face (or cloth) mask. 4. You are asked not to touch the statues. 5. Unfortunately, no votive candles can be lit. 6. Only a limited number of pews will be in use and therefore a limited

number of people allowed in the church at one time. 7. There will be a ‘one way’ system into and out of the church. 8. The toilets will not be in use
