Charminar is a beautiful and impressive square monument. Each side measures 20 m, and each of the corners has a tall, pointed minaret. These four gracefully carved minarets soar to a height of 48.7 m above the ground, commanding the landscape for miles around. Each minaret has four stories, marked by a delicately carved ring around the minaret. Unlike the Taj Mahal, Charminar's four fluted minarets of Charminar are built into the main structure. Inside the minarets 149 winding steps guide the visitor to the top floor, the highest point one can reach, which provides a panoramic view of the city.
About Hyderabad
The Salarjung Museum is the third largest museum in India housing the biggest one-man collections of antiques in the world. It is well known throughout India for its prized collections belonging to different civilizations dating back to the 1st century. Nawab Mir Yousuf Ali Khan Salar Jung III (1889-1949), former Prime Minister of the seventh Nizam of Hyderabad, spent a substantial amount of his income over thirty five years to make this priceless collection, his life's passion. The collections left behind in his ancestral palace, 'Diwan Deodi' were formerly exhibited there as a private museum which was inaugurated by Jawaharlal Nehru in 1951.
The 13th century Golconda Fort was built by the Kakatiya kings. The existing structure was later built by Qutub Shahi Kings into a massive fort with granite walls having eight gates and 87 bastions spread upto 7 kms, in circumference over a span of 62 years. Golconda Fort, popularly known in Telgu as"Golla Konda", which means "Shepherd's Hill", has an exotic story behind it. In 1143, on the rocky hill known as 'Mangalavaram', a shepherd boy came across an image and conveyed to the Kakatiya king, who was ruling at that time. The 10km long road from Golconda to outer Hyderabadwas a fantastic market selling jewellery, diamonds, pearls and other gems, popular in all over the world.
Birla Mandir The temple is built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called the 2Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres (53,000 m ) plot. The construction took 10 years
and was consecrated in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple does not have traditional bells, as Swamiji wished that the temple atmosphere should be conducive for meditation. The Birla Foundation has constructed several similar temples in India, all of which are known as Birla Mandir. The temple manifests a blend of South Indian, Rajasthani and Utkala temple architectures. In its entirety, it is made of 2000 tons of pure Rajasthani white Marble.
Ramoji Film City (RFC) is the world's largest integrated film studio complex at 2 [1]over 2,000 acres (8.1 km ) of land . It is also a popular tourism and recreation
centre, containing both natural and artificial attractions including an amusement park. It is situated near Hayathnagarand Peddamberpet on Hyderabad - Vijayawada, NH9 highway, about 25 km South-East of Hyderabad. The Outer Ring Road Phase 2 has acquired lands at the entrance and is set to intersect the city.

About Indian Society of Nephrology
The Indian Society of Nephrology was born when 10 like-minded and strong-willed
individuals sat together on a balmy day in Mumbai (then Bombay) in 1970.
Since its inception, the Society has focused on the advancement of education and
practice aimed towards improving of care of patients with kidney diseases.
The Society has continuously provided a platform for dissemination and sharing of
scientific exchange amongst professionals interested in the study of kidney and its
diseases in the country. In the early years, the ISN meetings were held along with
those of the Association of Physicians of India. That changed in 1991, with the
organization of the first independent Annual ISNCON at Jaipur.
The Indian Society of Nephrology currently has over 950 members. A vast majority
of the members are Nephrologists, but we have increasing representation of other
Specialist, such as Transplant Surgeons, Pathologists and basic scientists which help
widen the base of the Society.
The Society collaborates closely with other like-minded societies such as the
International Society of Nephrology and the Asian-Pacific Society of Nephrology for
a closer International integration.
