David SternNBA Commissioner EmeritusCEO, DJS Global AdvisorsDavid Stern redefined both the role of Commissioner and the importance of sports in society. In his 30-year tenure as NBA commissioner which concluded on February 1, 2014, Mr. Stern built the model for professional sports in league operations, public service, marketing, media distribution, digital technology and international expansion. He oversaw the NBA’s extraordinary growth with seven new franchises, a more than 30-fold increase in revenues, a dramatic expansion of national television exposure and the launch of the Women’s National Basketball Association and what is now known as the NBA G League. Stern anticipated the importance of digital to the growth of the NBA, launching NBA.com, NBA TV and NBA League Pass – the first global streaming service. He also oversaw the early adoption of social media by the league, its teams and its players, and the NBA now leads the world’s sports leagues in social media presence. Currently, as CEO of DJS Global Advisors, Mr. Stern serves as a Senior Advisor to the NBA, investment bank PJT Partners, venture capital firm Greycroft and is an investor in and advisor to a growing portfolio of 15 sports technology start-ups. Stern serves on the boards of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund, Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Paley Center for Media.

Chris Bradley Executive Director, Healthcare, Comcast

Chris Bradley is currently an Executive Director in Comcast NBC Universal’s strategic development division, where he works on numerous healthcare-related projects.

A son of two physicians, Chris learned from an early age that medical records provided immense amounts of data but not the insights everyone had hoped for. This led to his realization that by combining medicine and computer science, one could potentially unlock the knowledge sealed within this morass of raw data, hopefully leading to more effective and efficient healthcare for patients and their families, on a massive scale. This realization became the foundation for Mana Health, an award-winning health data startup he led as Co-founder and CEO before its acquisition by Comcast.

Chris is a nationally recognized thought leader and innovator and has contributed to interoperability conversations at the White House, the Office of the National Coordinator for Health IT and in other important venues. He holds a B.A. in Neuroscience and Cell Biology, and an M.S. in Computer Science.
