Dear Friends,

2017 was an amazing year for Friends In Deed! We have long been a tight community of donors, staff, volunteers, faith communities, Board members, community agencies and other supporters. This past year, with the launch of Circles Washtenaw County, our community has expanded again. It has been such a satisfying thing to not only successfully launch the Circles program but also to see our community grow to include so many new people. The energy in this effort and in our Furniture and Help Line programs continues to grow.

As we celebrate 35 years of serving Washtenaw County, we are thankful for all of you and for all of your support of the FID mission for so many years. Together we are lightening each other’s burdens.

Mission Statement

Friends In Deed is an interfaith organization that responds to unmet needs of low-income

Washtenaw County residents. We partner with the community to

provide critical financial assistance, furniture, congregational services

and agency referrals.

Endowment Established

We are so grateful for the generosity of

long-time supporters, the Weber family.

In December 2017, Carol Weber and

her family established the Roy and

Carol Weber Endowment Fund for Friends In Deed at the Ann Arbor Area

Community Foundation. The initial gift

of $125,000 has already grown, and we

look forward to this source of income

for many years. Thank you so much to
