    Ulagalla Resort is one of most attractive, favorite

    touristdestinationwhichwasnestledinourancient

    Anuradhapura

    and

    every

    thing

    that

    they

    have created is in ecofriendly system. HELPO

    could construct abiogas unitwith the capacity of

    15m3anditaddedanotherecofriendlytaskforthe

    resort.Through thisprogram resortcanhavegreat

    benefits for their economical side as well as

    environmental side.Resort shouldbeawakedhow

    to maintain the biogas unit because this is very

    newlysteptakenbyUlagallaresortsothaton14thof

    MarchHELPO chairman and some staffmembers

    wentforholdingawarenessprogramofbiogas.

    At the presentation our resource person Mr.

    ChathuraWelivitiyaexplainedwellon the topicof

    maintain and management of biogas unit. In his

    speech he mentioned lots of things by getting

    example fromour environment.Hepresented real

    situation of waste in the country and actual

    condition of some government and privet sectors

    beforetheylinkwithbiogasprogrambecauseevery

    onewassuffering from thiswasteproblem.Biogas

    program is the sustainableproper solution against

    this waste problem; he proved this by using his

    illustratingpresentation.

    He showed how people pollute the environment,

    what are the action should be taken to protect the environment by having other

    benefits.There,hementionedwhatarethethingsthatcanbedumpedintobiogasunit

    and cant be dumped, through that point he expressed how valuable of waste

    separating.Becauseonlyorganicwastecanbedumpedandheexpressedwatermixing

    ratios,how tomeasuregas level,how tomaintain theunit,nationaland international

    biogasusageofdifferentfieldbyillustrating.Throughthisprogramtheycouldrealize

    howvaluablethingisbiogasandhowtomanageandmaintainthisprocess.

    HareeshaHotel isoneofveryattractiveandbest

    hotels which nestled in the Galle district and

    surroundingwithaforestaddsmoreattractionto

    the hotel. People,who are engaging various life

    styles, come to this hotel for spending their

    leisure,vacation,holdingpartiesandetc.Among

    them not only local peoplebut also tourists are.

    Theywelcome their guests and guests arebeing

    treated well by their great hospitality. They

    supply foodsand forcookingmeals theyhave to

    spend in huge scale of money on their energy

    needs, as the energy power they use LP Gas.

    While having good solution for waste problem

    theyexpecttohaveanalternativeenergyfortheir

    energy problem. Actually waste was a huge

    problem to themprevious timeso that they tried

    togetridofthewasteproblemandtheysearched

    aproperwaytosolvethishugeproblem.

    Uptonowconstructionparthasalreadydoneand

    withinafewdaysweexpecttodumpcowdungto

    generatebiogasprocess.Thebestthingiswehave

    introducedtheSlurryManagementProcessofthe

    biogas.The slurry filtersaspurify thewaterand

    neverreleasetheslurrywithoutpurifying.Thisis

    the newest technology we introduced to biogas

    units.

    Through this program they can save about Rs

    35000/= 40000/=on theirbiogasusage and they are able tohaveotherbenefits too.

    Organiccultivationcanbestartedbyusingorganic fertilizerwhichcomesoutasside

    productivity of this process. Through this program troublesome waste becomes

    profitable source to them and their attitudes have changed in positively. They can

    conservetotheenvironmentbyreducingmethaneemissiontotheair.Thisisgoodand

    innovativeactionoftheprivatesectortoconservetheenvironment.

    motherland. While educating children they

    think of childrens nutrition too, so that

    childrenarebeingtreatedbyprovidingmeals.

    Forprovidingmeals theyareused tocooking

    mealsatschoolbyusing firewoodandwaste

    wasahugeproblemtothem,energycrisisalso

    actsamongtheirproblemsbecausetheyspend

    onfirewoodhighlynotonly that it isdirectly

    affect for reducing forestgeneration.With the

    financial support of UNDP Jaffna Office,

    HELPOcouldconstructabiogasunitatschool

    premises.

    Atmid twentyof thismonthHELPOofficers

    went toMuththuthambiVidyalaya toholdan

    awareness program to enhance their

    knowledgeofbenefitsofbiogasprocess.Our resourcepersonMr.Nilaufarexplained

    regarding every benefit of biogas by illustrating with presentation materials.

    RepresentativesofUNDPJaffnaoffice,School teachersandstudentsuptoO/Lclasses

    participatedinthisprogram.Mr.Nilaufarrevealedoffollowingbenefits,

    Theprogramaimtoawaretheparticipantsabouttheeffectiveandbenefitsofthebiogas

    andwhat isthenecessitytoprotecttheenvironment.Stepbystepweawarewhatare

    facilitieswecangetfromthebiogas.Theschoolhascultivationintheschoolpremises

    andweaware them touse thebio fertilizerasmanure to theircultivationalsoaware

    themcanapplythismanure,hormoneandpestcontroller.

    Walauwaththa, is located near theGalle town.

    Under

    SARI

    program

    HELP

    O

    had

    providedthedomesticbiogasunittothisvillage.

    Withourpreviousexperiencesofdomesticlevel

    HELPO involved to implement abiogas unit,

    that unit is fiberglass biogas unit with the

    capacityof6m3and50kgsofwastewithwater.

    Thebiogasunitprovidedunder loanbasis and

    they are getting benefits from the biogas unit

    nowtheyputthewastetobiogasunitandwaste

    is not a problem to them. The beneficiary is

    happyabout thisunitbecauseshedoesntneed

    much space to install thebiogas unit and she

    expects to start thecultivation from theorganic

    fertilizer ofbiogas. Not even that she already

    started to repay the loan installment and

    according to her statement now she can save

    muchmoney that she expended toLPGasand

    fire wood. The step we have taken is little

    differentbecause thisbiogasunit is totally loan

    basisafter install thisbiogasunitwecouldable

    togotmany requests like thisbiogasunit.The

    organization expects to use that fund as a

    revolvingfundtoexpandtheprograminfuture.

    This villagehas very little space and it isvery

    populatedsothiskindofbiogasunitisperfectly

    matchedtothecommunityneed.Theotherthing

    ispeoplecanrecover thecostwithinveryshort

    periodandafter that they canhave theprofits.

    Under theSARIEnergyprogramwecouldable

    to implement very success program in many

    places of the district. And the program was

    much effective to reduce the waste from the

    generating place. The all programs are

    communitybasedand implemented the though

    thecommunitynetworkoftheHELPO.

    SuccessCommunityBiogasUnitNegombo

    Negombo is one ofwellpopulated city

    of

    the

    country

    and

    it

    a

    commercial

    area

    too.With the support of the CITYNET

    we constructed the twobiogas units in

    Donbosco village.Thewaste collection

    was very high in the village and

    authorityofwastemanagementbelongs

    to Negambo Municipal council but it

    was difficult tomanage the totalwaste

    properlysothattheyweresearchingfor

    abetter solution for this huge problem

    and Municipal Council is one of

    members ofCITYNETJapan,with the

    financialsupportofCITYNETandwith

    the technical support ofHELPO as an

    active partner involved to implement

    twobiogasunitsatDonBoscowith the

    capacity of 22m3, 500kgs ofwastewith

    watercanbedumpedintothisunit

    Onebiogasunitconstructedinsideofthe

    village and second biogas unit

    constructed in Don Bosco Technical

    School with the request of the Municipal Council. It has few major reasons for it.

    Collectionwasteishugeamountandotherthingistheschoolhadmanypigsandthere

    isnoplacetoputthepigdungproperly.Sothereisahugeenvironmentproblemand

    fewofpeoplecomplainedaboutthissituation.Soweconsideraboutthissituationand

    constructedthebiogasunitinDonBoscoTechnicalSchool.

    Atthemomentwecouldable todump thewarmcowdung to thesecondbiogasandwe arewaiting to produce theMethane gas from thewarm cow dung. The school

    expects to use thebiogas as a renewable energy source.Actuallybiogas is thebest

    answer for current huge waste problem for every country when considering their

    naturebecause it is cost effective,profitable and environment friendlyprocess.Also

    theyhaveaplantostartcultivationintheschoolbecausetheyhaveenoughspaceforit

    tostarttheorganiccultivation.

    Experience Exchange Program between Sri Lanka Cambodian

    Government

    There was a Technical Cooperation for Developing

    Countries from 20th

    24th of March, 2011 in Phnom

    Penh Cambodia and two officers of Negambo MC

    andMr.ChathuraWelivitiya,theChairmanofHELP

    O, Mr. Darshana Maduranga, project Manager of

    HELPO got this great opportunity to participate in

    this great opportunity to exchange their experience

    withbiogassector.

    It was fundedby CITY NET, UNITAR and French

    Governmentandtheir1stdayofCambodiatheyhave

    metMr.Ang,departmentofEnvironmentofPhnomPenh in their discussion he has declared about

    problemsandchallengesthattheyhavetoface.After

    that our chairmanhasgivenhis instruction to them

    fortheirproblems.Thentheyhavegonetovisitsome

    biogas sites and their first visit indomestic level, it

    wasfunctioningwellandtheyhaveseensomeplaces

    shouldbechanged.

    On the same day they have gone to community

    domesticbiogas unit, the unit hasworked properlyand therewas nothing to apply. Site visit toYouth

    Rehabilitation Center, site visit to Dumping Yard

    biogasunitareanothervisitingof thesameday.On

    theirvisitingtheyhaveseensomesomeplacesshould

    bechangedandtheyhavegivengoodinstructionsto

    fixthoseproblems.

    Ontheseconddaytherewasanexperienceexchange

    program and Mr.Ang had declared that some

    problems, they are facing deeply on their wastemanagement task what are the problems they are

    facing. Then our chairman, Mr.Chathura Welivitiya

    explainedwhat the answers for these problems are.

    StepbysteptheycouldawarePhnomPenhofficersofDepartmentAuthority.Afterthat

    MunicipalCouncil Negambo conducted theirpresentationand they explainedabout

    theirprojects that theyhave implemented invariousareas

    oftheMCareaincludingbiogasprogram.

    Onthe3rddaytheyhavevisitedNORADAMSchooltosee

    thewastemanagement inschool levelwiththesupportof

    CITY NET waste management program has been

    implemented inschool.OnthatdayDOEPPhasgivenbio

    slurry forstartingorganicagriculture insideof theschool.

    LastdaytheyhavetaughtofficersofDOEPPhowtomake

    active Carbon in dumping yard with the support of

    Germananalyzerthere,theyhavefoundCH4,Co2andO2

    of thebiogas and content of gases were good and their

    decision was, with CH2 level generator canbe run and

    finally they have visited RiceMillwhichwas runbybiogas. Through this tour all

    partieshadgreatopportunitytoexchangetheirideasofthisbiogasconceptanditwas

    veryvaluableforalltolearnmore.

    ProgramaboutBestPractices,LessonandLearntofBiogasTechnology

    The program started on 15th March 2011 the

    programtopicisbestpracticeslessonandlearnt

    ofbiogas technology.Through thisprogramwe

    expected to share our experience andwhatwe

    haveimprovedthebiogastechnologyduringthe

    pasttime.Thisprogramisoneoftheactivitiesof

    the USAID SARI Energy Program. With the

    financial support of them we could able to

    conductthisprogram.

    We have invited many stakeholders for the

    program and they are root level Community,

    Health

    department

    officers,

    Municipal

    Councils,

    Prisons, Schools, Engineers, Chamber of

    Commerce,Hoteliers, andNGOparticipated to

    this program and many our beneficiaries also

    participated.

    From beginning time we explained how we

    changedthebiogasunitconstructionmodelfora

    betterandsuitableway.Wehavedevelopedthe

    biogas unit structure and new model is very

    success

    and

    effective.

    We

    implemented

    old

    Chinesemodelbiogasunitbutwe found some

    faultsofthebiogasandwemixtheIndianmodel

    andchinamodelsowehavedevelopedit.

    WeconnecttheIndianoutlettochinadomeand

    alsowehaveimprovedsometechnologieswhich

    are related to this. The other thing is we

    construct the biogas unit we followed many

    technicalstrategiesone isconstructthebottomofdomenot likeafatsurfaceand it is

    likeaUshapeandthatisonetechnicalimprovementwehavedone.

    hotels in Sri Lanka and a large number of

    foreign guests are being treated by their

    utmosthospitality.Sothatday todayguests

    arrivalsareveryhigh to this favorite tourist

    destination.Theyprovideddifferentkindof

    foodscookingbyusingLPGas.HotelWaste

    was a huge problem to them and also they

    had tospend togetridofwasteproblemso

    thattheyweresearchingforthebestsolution

    asanecofriendlyhotel.HELPOinvolvedto

    solving this problem by implementing a

    biogasunitatthehotelpremises.

    HELPO could give a sustainable waste

    management solution for this massive

    problem.Weconstructedbiogasunitwiththe

    capacityof15m3and theysaveaboutRs.10,

    000/=peramonth.Now theydontwant toface waste problem at all, they are very

    happyofbiogasconceptsothattheylovethis

    biogasunitandprotectitbecauseofcosteffectiveandprofitable.Previoustimewaste

    wasahugeproblemtothemandnowtheyknowhowvaluablethingiswastewiththis

    program. They keep their step for futurewith this conceptbecause they have seen

    effectivenessand takenbenefits.LPGaspricesare increasingdaybydayso that, this

    conceptisveryimportantonetothemnow.ThiswasournewexperimentofHotelfield

    andverysuccessfulprogram.

    Through thisprogramwecouldexpandourprograms tootherhotels too,seeing thebenefitswearerequestedfromotherhotelstoconstructabiogasunitattheirpremises.

    It is timelysolution for thisenergycrisis to facewithout inconvenienceandreducing

    Global Warming and climatic changes are other benefits. Now waste became a

    marketableitemandithasavaluenoweventheyareearningfromthethrowingwaste

    andthatisgoodmodeltostudy.

    AWiseActTakenbyGampahaMunicipalCouncil

    Gampaha Municipal Council is one of leading

    government institution in theGampahaDistrict

    and

    it

    is

    their

    duty

    to

    keep

    the

    city

    clean

    and

    beautiful. Two years ago they faced a huge

    wasteproblemand then they tried fordifferent

    kindofsolutionandat last theycame tobiogas

    concept through this program they expected a

    proper sustainable solution for their waste

    problem. They took necessary every action to

    fulfill their duty and also they provide their

    utmostsupport tocommunityof thearea toget

    rid

    of

    bad

    issues

    of

    huge

    waste

    as

    a

    very

    populated citywaste collection is very high of

    thecity.

    Two years ago under Pilisaru Project,HELPO

    involved to implementing abiogasunit atMC

    andHELPOconstructed twobiogasunitswith

    the capacity of 22m3 and 500kgs ofwaste and

    water could be dumped in to this unit. They

    used fisher market waste, vegetable market

    waste

    and

    litter

    of

    the

    city

    to

    generate

    these

    units.Throughtheseprogramssixhousescould

    takebiogas for their energy needs for cooking

    food as well as canteen of MC usebiogas for

    their cooking. Both party could save money

    spendonLPGasandtheydeclarethatusageof

    biogas is very effective than using LP Gas

    becauseof itspowerfulheatand they can cook

    meals faster than thatmethod.Theycultivatevegetables, fruitsand floweryplantsby

    organicfertilizerat theirMCpremises.OneofofficerofMC,Mr.Remanddeclarethat

    throughthisprogramcityhasbecomecleanandtidybecauseitispreventingbadsmell

    of fisherywasteandotherwasteand they love thisprogram.Actually this inimitable

    actcansavenotonlymoneybutalsosaveournature.It isourdutytoprotectthisfor

    ourfutureitleadscleanandhealthypathtoourlives.Noteventhattheysellthebiogas

    tonearhousesandthatisverygoodexampletootherMunicipalCouncilsearningfrom

    waste.

    TheBestSolutionforIncreasingPricesofLPGas

    With theglobalizationpeoplehavevarious facilities to link

    withtheworldasaresultofthis,peoplearealwaysfinding

    easy and comfortable life style by neglecting traditionalmethodswith theirbusy lifestyle,before tenyearsormore

    peopleareusedtocookingfoodbyusingfirewood.Atthat

    timeitwasasymbolofwealthylifeisusinggasforcooking.

    Modern isworld loosing the natural gas and fuel dayby

    day.

    At the present majority of people use LP Gas for their

    cookingpurposeand theyhave to spendmuchonLPGas

    monthly.TheyhavetofacelotsoftroublewithLPGasusage

    becausethepricesofGasarealwaysincreasing,asaperson

    who takes monthly payment that is very badly effect

    because they plan what to do after having their salary.

    Peoplearesuffering from thisproblemhighly.Peoplehave

    to face for rapidly changing economics conditions as an

    examplegaspriceofSriLankahasincreasedaboutRs.238/=

    andaccordingtoreportofDepartmentofCensus&statistic,

    averagemonthly percapitaincomeRs.9104andconsideringthesefactswecanrealize

    thatwhatisthesituationofthemlikeessentialgoodsasgas.Thisissituationissamein

    allovertheworlddaybydaynaturalgasandfuelaredecreasing.Peopleshouldfind

    renewableenergysourceandenvironmentfriendlyisveryimportant.

    That is why we are launching biogas projects by expanding to other parts of the

    country. Actually this is the best and proper solution for suffer of them. Think a

    momentweremovetearsfromtheireyesbyapplyingsmileontheirfaceasthenational

    careerofbiogassector inSriLanka.WithBiogaswecancreateenvironment friendly,

    costeffectiveenergypower.Weexpecttointroducethisconcepthousetohouseforthe

    bettermentofthenation,countryandworld.Earlytimebiogasappliedonlyforanimal

    wastebutHELPOcouldable toconvert this technology tomunicipalwasteand that

    wasarevolutionofthecountry.Thisisoneofgoodandsustainablesolutionforenergy

    program, waste problem and not even that this is directly link with the health of

    community.

    HELPOPeoplesMovement

    PeoplesMovementofHELPOiscompletelyacommunitybased&villagelevelleaders

    aretakingopportunitytoleansthemovementwiththestrongnetworkwitheachother.

    Inpresent thispeoplesmovementhas spreadamongGalle&Mataradistrictsof the

    country & the small group which has formed in village level is the ground level

    communitybaseof thisnetwork.Thebranchwithcontainwithsmallgroupsare the

    villagelevelplatformforthecommunitytoexpresstheirideas&provideassistancefor

    thepeople.They are functioning invillage levelby taking the leadership thosewho

    were limited in kitchen earlier& through this net work in present all of them are

    empowertoraisetheirvoicefortheirneedsalso. Peoplegetfinancial&nonfinancial

    assistances through their small groups which are indirectly help the process of

    development.

    Inherewearegoing togive some ideaabout theactivitieswhich tookplacewith in

    thesepeoplesmovementinthemonthofMarch2011.

    Homegardenamongourpeoplesmovement

    Duetofoodcrisisintheworldallhavetosufferwith

    lackoffoodaswellashighpriceoffood.Tofacethis

    crisis as per their capacity, the members of our

    peoplesmovementstated todohomegardeningby

    takingtheadvantageoftheircommunitynetworkin

    theirvillagelevel.Theyaregettingintogroups&do

    gardeninginurbanareasalsousingsometechniques

    forproblemssuchaslackofspace&chemicalfertile

    etc.

    In present they are getting harvest even for their

    domestic needs& this ismuch helpful for them to

    sustain in village level. Our everybranch are now

    stated to implement these home gardening concept

    amongtheirmembers&infuturetheyareexpecting

    tokeepacompetitiontoselectthebesthomegarden

    with themainaim toencourage themembersabout

    thehabitofgardening.

    According to themain ideasof thebeneficiaries

    we have categorized the huge threaten in that

    Hikkaduwa area which is face by the coir

    producers in promoting their coir products. In

    present these community is sufferingof thatno

    properpits for them tomake coirbecause they

    want for retting the coconut husks. But due to

    thedevelopmentandconstructionmanyhouses

    in the area they cant find a suitable place for

    retting.Thatisoneofmainchallengetheyhadto

    face.

    After identified their situations & difficulties

    through the group exercise we suggest some

    solutions&providedsomeguidanceforthemin

    the evening time. Especially we identify that

    most of them were not much aware & think

    aboutexpansionoftheirbusiness&weprovided

    guidancetodevelopthemselvesstepbystep.

    Community appreciated the program much & was much intention among them to

    participatewithallactivitiesalso.Finallyallof themexplain thatprogramwasmuch

    effectiveforthem&itwashelpfultoleanstheirthinkingstylesinmodernconceptsto

    develop theirbusiness.Greatachievementof theprogramwas thatwe couldable to

    of the Thotagamuwa community leans their life

    with fishing, coir production, hand loom & other

    handicraftsthisisgoodopportunityforthemtosell

    theirproductsinaplaceoftheirown.

    On last 30th March 2011 stall was open by

    Mr.Chatura Welivitiya Chairmen of HELPO. The

    Chairmen & Wise Chairmen of the Peoples

    Movement, the community leaders of other

    branches as well as staff of HELPO also

    participated for the opening. The goods such as

    DriedFish,BakeryProducts,Spices,CoirProducts,

    rice flour & some other consumer products of

    communityare selling in this stall for lowerprices

    thanoutsideshops.

    Thecommunity leaderofThotagamuwaaswellas

    one of the director board member of HELPO

    peoplesMovementexpressed the idea that this is

    averygood initiative takenbyPeoplesMovement

    to give value for the products of ourmembers in

    theirownvillage

    Thebranch leader gets the leadership tomanage theprogram& they areproviding

    theseproductstootherpeoplesmovementbranchesalso.Throughthisourbeneficiaries

    getamarketfortheirproductsinvillagelevel&itwillaffecttoincreasetheproduction

    their products in this program. It was a greatchanceforthemtogetanideaaboutthedemandof

    theirproducts aswell as to have a goodwill for

    theirproductsinthelocal&foreignmarket.

    Through this program our community member

    couldabletorecognizetheothersmallenterprises

    & itwasmuch useful for them tomake linkages

    with out side also. The products such as home

    made sweets, rice flours, spices, dried fish, hand

    looms, coir products & some other consumerproductswerekeptfortheExhibition&theywere

    able to sell theseall in favorableprice for local&

    foreignpeople.

    Through this exhibition our small & medium

    enterprises were encourage much to do their

    products more with high Quality standard. Not

    only that thiswas a good opportunity to expand

    their productions and business to many places.

    Beforethosewomencouldnotabletodothistypeof theworksbecause they arenotwellorganized

    andempoweredbutwith thesupportof thepeoplesmovement.Themembersof the

    ThotagamuwaisavillagelocatedinHikkaduwa

    DS division& itwas fully affectedby tsunami

    disaster also. Peoples Movement branch has

    established in thisvillagebaseafter thatnatural

    disaster&peopleweremuchmoreempoweras

    they got an opportunity to raise their voice

    throughthis.

    In present there are 16 groups in our

    Thotagamuwa peopeles Movement &

    communitywhowerevictimsoftsunamiarestill

    give leadership for thebranchalso.Kitusewana

    flatshavebuild for thehomeless communityof

    thisvillageafterthattsunamibuttheydidntget

    water for this.Thepeople live in this flatswere

    our branch members & through the financial

    assistance of CLAPNET Thotagamuwa branch

    was able to provide assistance to get water

    supply for these members. It was a great

    achievementofthesemembersastheysufferalot

    without havingwater for their homes.With in

    themonth ofJanuary 2011 sixmembers of this

    flat able to get this financial assistance& otherfour members requirements also forward in

    present.

    The disbursed amounts Rs.116, 610.00 in the

    range of Rs.16, 000.00 to Rs.30, 000.00 each

    person.Inpresent theyhave taken thewaterfor

    theirhomes&alloftheirfacesarefullofsmileas

    theycouldsatisfiedtheirmajorbasicneedsnow.

    Finallyallof themexpress their idea thatThey

    love&protectthisPeoplesMovementforeverastheygaveassistance for thesomeof thevillages

    togetbasicneedsofthelivesthataccessforsafe

    An economic condition of Lacking of money & other

    basicnecessitieswhichneed to livesuchasfood,water,

    shelters,educationetc.., isonedefinitionofpoverty.But

    eradicatepoverty&hungerformtheworldbefore2015is

    one major expectation among the Millennium

    Developmentgoals.SriLankaalso trying tocomfort this

    goalby taking incentives collaboration with private &

    otherstakeholders. Identifying the reasonofpoverty is

    bitdifficultas it isvariousfromcountryorfromnation.

    But Natural disasters, Overpopulation, Lack of skills,

    Lack of education, Cultural causes, War etc are some

    factorscauseofpovertyinanysectors.

    Ourpeoples network also trying to take initiatives in

    this regards & they believe the net work among the

    community especially among marginalized poor will

    make this goal a reachable one. In present we able to make a platform for the

    communitybyformingthegroupsinvillagelevelwhichprovideaccessforthemtotalk

    &discussedtheirmattersinvillagelevel.Theneedsaswellastheirdisabilitiestofind

    anysolutionintheir levelwillforwardthroughthissmallgroupstobranch level.The

    villagepeopletakeleadershipinthisprogram&theirfinancial&othersocialproblems

    discussed in village level through the participation of community. The Peoples

    MovementofHELPO is the combinationof thesevillage leaders& thevillage levelmattersaretakenintodiscussioninthistableamongtheleaders.

    Inpresent these communitynetworkaremuchpowerful to finda solution for their

    problemsthroughtheirownassetseven.Astheymobilizesavingsinvillagelevelthey

    areenrich toprovidecredits for thepeople.This isoneadvantageof thisnetwork in

    caseofpovertyelimination.Itwilloccurtopromoteeconomicgrowthisindirectwayas

    thesecreditsaresuppliedfortheselfemploymentneedsspecially.Aswellassupplya

    creditwillbeahelptofindingemploymentalso.Sharamadanacampaign&otherkind

    of gathering organized in village level through the peoples movement leans the

    communitytowardstheonecommonaimthatisdevelopment.

    Now theyhave ability toprovide financial facility&other social assistancenotonly

    their villagesbut also for other villages of our peoplesmovement. In thisway our

    HELPOpeoplesmovementprovideguidanceforthecommunitytogoforwardalone

    invillagelevelwiththemainaimoferadicatethepoverty& inpresenttheyaretrying

    toreachsustainableinvillagelevelthroughtheseprocess.
