On May 19, 1992, Dr. Angelo Armenti, Jr. was appointed by the Board of Governors of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education as the sixth president of California University of Pennsylvania, founded in 1852. He holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Villanova University, and MA and Ph.D. degrees from Temple University in special and general relativity, respectively. He had a distinguished 20-year career at Villanova University prior to becoming president of California University. At Villanova he served as professor of physics, chair of the department of physics,

Dean of University College, and Director of Planning. In addition to scholarly publications in scientific journals, Dr. Armenti received the Lindback Foundation Award for Distinguished Teaching in 1978, and was named an American Council on Education (ACE) Fellow in 1992, one of only thirty-two individuals selected nationally for this recognition. His book, The Physics of Sports, commissioned by the American Institute of Physics, remains in print since its initial publication in 1992. Since Dr. Armenti’s arrival at California University in 1992, applications have increased by 90%; average SATs have increased by 113 points; FTE enrollments have increased by 43%; and four-year graduation rates have increased by 94%. Many new academic programs have been initiated including: Master of Social Work (MSW); Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT); Master of Science in Multi-Media Technology; Physical Therapy Assistant; Sports Management; Graphic Design, Computer Engineering Technology, Criminal Justice, Legal Studies, Music Technology and Nursing Administration.

Other University accomplishments since his arrival as president include: creation of an Athletic Hall of Fame; winning the Dixon Trophy as well as three National championships (two in women’s softball and one in women’s basketball); a successfully completed $13 million (first ever) capital campaign; a second capital campaign that is currently on schedule to reach its $35 million goal; a twenty-fold increase in endowment funds; the adoption by the University of the core values of Integrity, Civility, and Responsibility; the adoption of a University Bill of Rights and Responsibilities; the creation of the University Forum—a new governance structure; adoption of a new general education curriculum; implementation of a $200 million master plan, including: the building of the Eberly Science and Technology Center, the Kara Alumni House, the Duda Classroom Building, a 6,000 seat Convocation Center, and six modern new residence halls; the renovation or expansion of numerous other buildings on campus; and the creation of Global Online, the University’s internet-based outreach to some 2,000 students from around the world. Dr. Armenti has been active with the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, and has served as Campaign Chair and President of the Mon Valley United Way. In 2001 he became a Certified Covey Trainer on The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. He is a member of the board of directors of the Washington County Redevelopment Authority, a member of the board of directors of the Greater Pittsburgh council of Boy Scouts of America, and Chair of the Commission of Presidents of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education. He is married to the former Barbara Malinowski and, together, they have five grown children and nine grandchildren. His avocations include piano, photography and sailing.

Welcome to California University of Pennsylvania and another exciting season of Vulcan women’s basketball. I am confident that Coach Mark Swasey, his staff and the players will continue to build upon the basketball tradition and make this a year to remember. This was a year of remarkable achievements at Cal U. In the past 12 months our academic offerings have been strengthened and expanded. Our beautiful campus continues to evolve, and our enrollment continues to grow. Our athletic teams won statewide and regional titles. Cal U finished with an impressive No. 2 national ranking in the final standings of the 2009-10 Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup. This second place- finish is the highest by a PSAC school since the Directors’ Cup was initiated prior to the 1995-96 academic year. The Vulcans are the only PSAC school to break into the top five of the standings and the only school to post three-straight Top 10 finishes. We are very proud of our student-athletes, coaches and many individuals behind the scenes who are responsible for this magnificent accomplishment.

I am particularly proud of our student-athletes who perform well not only on the field of play, but also in the classroom. During the 2009-10 academic year, a total of 205 California University of Pennsylvania student athletes, representing all sports, were named to the Spring 2010 edition of the Vulcan Athletic Director Honor Roll. For the eighth-consecutive semester, the Cal U athletic programs compiled a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or higher. In addition, a combined 141 student-athletes from Cal U representing all sports (fall, winter and spring) were named PSAC Scholar-Athletes for the 2009-10 academic year. Our athletes have put in hundreds of hours of practice, and their hard work and dedication make them winners regardless of the score. The same can be said of the coaching staff, whose devotion to their sport and their players is an inspiration. The mission of Cal U is to build character and build careers. While the formal part of the education occurs in classrooms, laboratories, and internship sites, the other part of a college education takes place in residence halls, the Natali Student Union and in various sport venues, such

as Hamer Hall. Basketball and our other athletic programs provide students with an experience that helps them to learn and to grow in ways that will benefit them the rest of their lives. Teamwork is important not only on the field, but in the boardroom, the operating room and in the classroom. Many of our alumni who were student-athletes during their time here have distinguished themselves in endeavors far removed from their sport, but they have carried with them the important life lessons they have learned on the field and from their coaches, their teammates, and even their opponents. I hope that you enjoy the 2010-11 season and that you will support all of these young athletes enthusiastically.

UNIVERSITY PROFILEABOUT US

California University of Pennsylvania, a comprehensive regional institution of higher education and a member of the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education, is a diverse, caring and scholarly learning community dedicated to excellence in the liberal arts, science and technology, and professional studies that is devoted to building character and careers, broadly defined. The University is inspired by its

core values of Integrity, Civility and Responsibility and is guided by its Bill of Rights and Responsibilities: We have the right to safety and security; We have the responsibility to ensure the safety and security of others; We have the right to be treated with respect; We have the responsibility to treat others with respect; We have the right to expect the best; We have the responsibility to give our best; We have the right to be treated fairly; We have the responsibility to treat others fairly.

MISSION: BUILDING CHARACTER AND CAREERS

To advance its ultimate mission of building the character and careers of students, the University shall focus its efforts on three goals: student achievement and success, institutional excellence, and community service. These interrelated ends will be facilitated by the following means: high quality faculty, students, programs and facilities. These means, in turn, will be funded through an energetic program of resource acquisition and stewardship.

LEGACY

Founded in 1852, and now in its second 150 years of service, the University is committed above all to academic excellence and intellectual rigor in the context of personal and institutional Integrity, Civility and Responsibility.

THE CAMPUS

Cal U’s 190-acre campus is nestled on a bend of the Monongahela River in the borough of California, Pa., 35 miles south of Pittsburgh. One of the first things you’ll notice when you visit for the first time is the natural beauty. Tree-lined lawns, broad walkways and exquisite landscaping surround restored historic buildings and new residence halls that have been recognized by the National Building Museum as among the finest in the nation. The Arboretum at California University of Pennsylvania is a public garden encompassing our 92-acre lower campus. We’re building an extensive collection that includes examples of nearly every tree indigenous to Pennsylvania. Lovely stained glass windows featuring Pennsylvania wildflowers, which grace the Grand Hall of Old Main, were created by Leslie Parkinson, emeritus professor of art. Another favorite site is the Manderino Library Gallery, an intimate space that features exhibitions from the Carnegie Museum of Art and other top museums and private collections. Take time to stroll through our sculpture garden, which features the magnificent “Ascent of Humanity” sculpture near the Duda World Cultures Building.

At Cal U, we’re small enough to feel like family, yet large enough to offer variety and diversity. Spend some time getting to know us! Take a virtual tour online, come visit or request information to learn more about campus life at Cal U.

CAMPUS LIFE

Cal U is known for its diverse and dedicated student body, nationally recognized housing, recently renovated facilities, varied events and activi-ties and countless opportunities to get involved. You’ll find a strong sense of community and traditions guided by the spirit of service and a sense of pride. In short, you’ll find a home here at Cal U. Become a part of a University dedicated to building character and building careers. Take a virtual tour, come visit or request information to learn more about campus life at Cal U.

LIVING AT CAL U

If you are a first-time freshman from outside commuting distance to the University, you will reside in Univer-sity housing for the first four semesters of your college career as space permits. But you won’t find dorms at Cal U. Here stu-dents live “The Suite Life,” enjoying roomy suites in new buildings. All six of Cal U’s residence halls have been built in recent years. Along with comfortable rooms, the halls feature well-designed common areas for socializing, including lounges with large-screen TVs and DVD players, as well as full kitchen areas and comfortable seating, not to mention rec rooms with ping pong and pool tables. Community assistants serve as leaders and facilitators within each hall. These students (graduate or undergraduate) live on designated floors and assist in overall operation. All are available through an on-call system 24 hours a day, with schedules and contact information posted throughout the building. The community assistants dedicate considerable time and ef-fort to developing community. They help students understand and comply with University and residence hall rules, and they plan programs and activi-ties to help make the most of the residence hall experience. Residence hall directors supervise each hall and work to ensure living on campus is productive and safe. These professionals (who have master’s degrees related to education and student development) live in the halls. The residence hall directors assist individuals and student groups, encour-age community development, promote academic success, handle hall conduct issues, supervise student staff and act as the liaison for facility is-sues.

VISIT US

It’s never too early to see how you will fit in at California University of Pennsylvania. Throughout the year we host several special events de-signed for everyone from high school juniors to students who have already applied. You can also schedule an individual visit that includes a meeting with an admissions counselor. Individual visits start at the Welcome Center on the first floor of the Eberly Science and Technology Building. This is the place to pick up literature about the University, watch a video and take a campus tour with a student ambassador. At the end of the tour, you will sit down with one of our admis-sions counselors and get answers to your specific questions. Plan to spend about two hours and 30 minutes when you visit, and feel free to bring your family or a couple of friends.

CONVOCATION CENTER

Construction workers were busy at two sites on the Cal U campus this summer.Behind Manderino Library, workers have been putting the finishing

touches on a parking facility set to open this fall. Vulcan Garage offers more than 660 parking spaces, including spots

set aside for campus visitors. Adjacent to Hamer Hall, the Convocation Center is taking shape.

Underground utilities have been installed and the steel frame is rising. Designed as a regional asset, this state-of-the-art building features a 6,000-seat arena and executive conference facilities equipped with cutting-edge “smart” technology.

The Convocation Center is scheduled for completion in 2011.

The Convocation Center takes shape. The building will be faced with brick to match others on campus.

Parking is available on five levels in the new Vulcan Garage.

Nearly 400 laborers and skilled workers have worked at the Convocation Center site.

ACADEMICS

Cal U student-athletes posted a banner year in athletic competition during the 2009-10 season, five PSAC West titles, four PSAC crowns and two NCAA regional trophies with nine team and 14 individual appearances in NCAA post-season play. The success has continued as Cal U finished second in the final standings of the 2009-10 Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup.

In addition to athletic prowess, the Vulcans also excelled in the classroom. A total of 205 Cal U student athletes, representing all sports (fall, winter & spring), were named to the Spring 2010 edition of the Vulcan Athletic Director Honor Roll. For the eighth-straight semester, Cal U athletic programs compiled a cumulative grade-point average of 3.00 or higher. Cal U also featured 16 ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District highlighted by four Academic All-Americans. To be eligible for the academic all-district honor, student-athletes must maintain a cumulative 3.20 GPA or higher, reached sophomore athletics and academic standing at their institution and participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s games as a starter or an important reserve with legitimate athletic credentials. In addition, a combined 141 student-athletes from Cal U representing all sports were named Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Scholar-Athletes for the 2009-10 academic year. To be eligible for the academic honor, student-athletes must maintain at least a 3.25 cumulative grade-point average (GPA) while competing in an intercollegiate varsity sport. Cal U ranked sixth among the 16-member conference with 141 scholar-athletes. The football team led the Vulcans with 16 players earning PSAC Scholar-Athlete status. There are not many successful basketball programs that can lose their all-time leading scorer and not go through a transitional period as they wait for a new leader to emerge. For the California University of Pennsylvania women’s basketball team, that should not be the case for the 2010-11 campaign. Head coach Mark Swasey returns for his second season and looks to lead Cal U to its 11th-straight Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship game and 10th-consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. In his first year at the helm, Swasey led the Vulcans to a 24-8 overall record and an 11-3 mark in conference action. The coach has a proven track record of success, having guided Franklin Pierce (N.H.) to back-to-back NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearances. Gone is Brooque Williams, who finished her All-America playing career as the program’s all-time leading scorer with 2,205 points. “[Brooque] was a franchise-type player; everything we did revolved around her,” said Swasey. “We’re going to be a team that needs to score and defend more as a team, rather than depending on one or two players.” The Vulcans return a perennial All-America finalist in forward Kayla Smith. The senior enters this year sixth all-time on the Cal U scoring list with 1,540 points. In 2009-10, Smith and Williams combined for over 36 points and 20 rebounds per game. Smith finished averaging 11.9 rebounds per game, which put her among the leaders in the nation while posting 25 double-doubles. Swasey believes Smith is an exceptional post-player who the Vulcans will look to get a touch on almost every possession. “With Kayla, we will get a lot of ball movement,” said Swasey. “We are going to be more of a screening team and will look to play from the inside out.” Joining Smith in the front court is junior Amy Johns, who averaged nine points and six rebounds per night last season, her first playing with the Vulcans. “Amy has the ability to create her own shots and score both inside and out,” said Swasey. “She is a

smart defender who played much of last season undersized and we hope she will get the chance to move to her more natural small-forward position this year because we have much more size.” Returners in the backcourt are junior Danielle Luckett and sophomore Stephanie Michael . Last year, Luckett averaged four points a game and 15 minutes off the bench. Swasey believes that she is primed to be a breakout player this season. “Danielle has all the potential in the world. I’m hoping that this can be a breakout season for her.” Michael is a proven threat

from long distance after averaging 39 percent from beyond the arc last season. “Her perimeter game and ability to shoot the three is going to be a major weapon for us this season.” Sophomore Audrey Gattoni will see her first collegiate action after redshirting last season. She will be a tough defender who will be called upon to knock down jump shots and spread the court to open up the lane for Smith and Johns. “Overall, she [Gattoni] was one of our best defenders in practice last year. Offensively, she can shoot the three and put the ball on the floor.” Swasey’s recruiting class is led by Ryah Gadson, a 5-9 combo-guard from McKeesport, and Kate Seebohm, a 5-7 freshman point guard from Australia. With a lot of new faces manning the point in the PSAC, the coach believes he has two guards that compliment each other very well. “Gadson is proving to be an excellent defender and Seebohm has a great feel for the game,” said Swasey. “It wouldn’t surprise me, if both saw the floor at the same time in the future.” Joining Gadson and Seebohm is freshman Elena Antonenko, a 6-3 guard/forward from Russia. “Antonenko has the ability to be a game-changer. She is quick off the dribble, has three-point range and moves well around the basket,” said Swasey. Defensively, she can alter shots and defend both guards and forwards. “Once she adjusts to our style of play, she will contribute.” Freshman Davida Penn will step in and be a force offensively, as Swasey believes she could potentially have a very strong post presence. Aryelle Covington is a solid undersized post player at 5-10 and is one of the team’s most physical players. With only six players returning, Cal U has 11 players on the roster for 2010-11 -- a number that Swasey thinks is ideal. With the potential to go nine or 10 deep in the playing rotation, chemistry and how comfortable the team gets with one another is going to be critical to the success of the team. “Our chemistry is outstanding. This is one of the best groups of kids that you could ask for.” With a year of PSAC competition under his belt, Swasey has been impressed by the conference as a whole so far, “It’s a great conference with outstanding coaches. If you can get out [of the PSAC], you are prepared for success in the region and a potential [NCAA] Elite Eight appearance.” “In order to maintain the type of success that Cal U has had in recent history in the PSAC, our young players are going to need to step in and contribute right away,” said Swasey. The Vulcans will play in three different tournaments at the beginning of the season to prepare for the long grind of the PSAC schedule, which begins in January. Swasey scheduled the tournaments with one thing in mind, “In order to win the conference championship and advance in the national tournament, you need to be able to compete at a high level consistently on back-to-back days.”

A coach with significant NCAA Tournament experience, Mark Swasey enters his second season as head coach of the California University of Pennsylvania women’s basketball program in 2010-11. Last season, Swasey guided the Vulcans to their 10th-straight appearance in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championship and ninth-consecutive berth to the NCAA Tournament. He featured one of the best tandems in the country in All-American guard Brooque Williams and All-America Honorable Mention forward Kayla Smith. Williams finished her career as the program’s all-time leading scorer and set the conference record for career steals. Prior to coming to Cal U, he lead Franklin Pierce (N.H.) to back-to-back NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearances. In 2009, he guided the Ravens to the 2009 NCAA Division II national title game and a school record 29 wins. For his efforts, he was named Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA)/Russell East Region Coach of the Year after leading Franklin Pierce to the Northeast-10 (NE-10) regular season and tournament championships, along with a second-straight Elite Eight appearance. Swasey, who was inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame last fall, guided Franklin Pierce to unprecedented success during his seven-year tenure, compiling a 124-85 overall record. Over his last four years, the Ravens posted an

impressive 89-37 record (.706) with an 8-2 record in two NCAA Tournament appearances. Overall, he holds a 204-119 (.632) career record in 11 seasons, which includes a three-year stint at Division III Norwich (Vt.) prior to coaching Franklin Pierce. Swasey coached Franklin Pierce to back-to-back NCAA Tournament berths, establishing the school record for wins each season and earning consecutive NCAA Regional Championships. In 2008-09, the Ravens posted a 29-6 overall record and opened Elite Eight play with an 88-73 win over Cal U before losing to Minnesota State Mankato in the highest scoring national championship game in NCAA Division II history, 103-94. While with Franklin Pierce, Swasey tutored three-time WBCA All-American and three-time NE-10 Player of the Year Johannah Leedham. A two-time National Player of the

Year, Leedham finished her career as the all-time leading scorer in NCAA Division II history with 3,050 points. Swasey joined the Raven program prior to the 2002-03 season and in only his fourth year Swasey mentored Franklin Pierce to the 2006

HISTORY

The California University of Pennsylvania women’s basketball team has been a program with tremendous success over the years. Dating back to the inception of the program in the 1970’s, the women’s basketball program has produced talented individuals both on and off the court. From a perennial conference power throughout the 1980’s and 90’s to a program now that garners the national spotlight each and every year. In 1985 when Paul Flores took over the Cal U program, he had his work cut out for him. It was a relatively new program that hadn’t experienced a great deal of success. As he struggled in his first year finishing the season with a 2-24 overall record, he set out to turnaround the program and he did just that. In his second and third seasons, he improved the Vulcans’ records to 10-16 and 15-12, respectively. Then in his fourth year controlling the reigns to the program, the Cal U women’s team took a turn for the better and hasn’t looked back since they finished the 1988-89 season with a 19-8 record. Coach Flores then guided the Vulcans over the next six years with an impressive 106-56 record. During his tenure, he coached some of the Vulcans’ all-time greats. Current assistant coach Anne Malkowiak played for Coach Flores and still holds the career record for three-point percentage and single-season records for free-throw and three-point percentages en route to being inducted in the Athletic Hall of Fame. Other Hall of Fame inductees that played for Coach Flores include Lara Thornton who finished her Vulcan career with a then-school record 1,892 points, Corinne Vanderwal who still holds the career record for field-goal percentage at an astonishing 67.7 percent, Sandy Stodolsky, Tracy Cox, and Tammy McIntire, who holds the all-time record for free-throws made. Once Coach Flores decided to retire, the Vulcans looked to Tom Kendall to continue the successful ways that had been laid down before him. During his short five-year stint, Kendall had a combined record of 76-56. When Tom Kendall decided to step down, the Cal U athletic administration decided to go in a different direction and hire up-and-coming coach Darcie Vincent. In her first season, Vincent led a well-balanced team that showed a lot of promise and finished the year with an overall record of 19-10. This was the groundwork that needed to be laid as the next seven years proved to be some of the best the Vulcan program had seen as Coach Vincent tallied a 212-47 record. She led the Vulcans to a pair of Elite Eight appearances, two Final Four appearances and the ultimate goal of a National Championship in 2004. Vincent also coached some of Cal U’s most successful student-athletes in school history

including Hall of Famers Sara McKinney, Sameera Philyaw and Beck Siembak. McKinney broke Thornton’s scoring record and finished her career as a three-time WBCA All-American. Siembak was tabbed the National Player of the Year in 2003 and Philyaw ranks among the top five in scoring and rebounding. Since Vincent left after the 2008 season, the Cal U women’s team has had a pair of coaches in two seasons. In 2009, long-time Vincent assistant Heather Kearney took control of the program, leading them the NCAA Elite Eight where they were defeated by Franklin Pierce. After just one season Kearney decided to coach with Vincent in North Carolina and the search began for another head coach. The Vulcans looked at the last team to beat them and hired Mark Swasey away from Franklin Pierce to take over the Vulcan program. In his first year, Swasey didn’t miss a beat as he led Cal U to a 24-8 record and into the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Leading the Vulcans was senior Brooque Williams, who reset the school’s scoring record. Junior Kayla Smith also played a vital role in leading Cal U throughout the year, as she garnered all-conference and all-region recognition. This year will mark the end of an era when the men’s and women’s basketball teams close out the 2010-11 season in Hamer Hall, as they will have a new home venue for the upcoming years. Many victories were won and memories made in Hamer Hall, but the Vulcan basketball programs will have a new home in the 6,000-seat Convocation Center. This new building will be a state-of-the-art facility that will feature premier amenities. The Cal U athletic department is inviting all members of the Cal U basketball family back for the last game in Hamer Hall on Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011.

*Please contact the Sports Information Office with any stories or facts as we are constantly trying to update and preserve the history of the women’s basketball program.*

PSAC

Originating in 1951 to administer and promote men’s athletics, the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference has evolved into one of the NCAA’s most heralded intercollegiate conferences. The first major step came in 1977, when based on a growing interest, the league reorganized to provide a structure for its women’s programs. Only three years later, lacking a standard competitive division, league voted to reclassify the entire conference to NCAA Division II. The most recent enhancement came during the 2008-09 academic year when the PSAC expanded for the first time in its rich history, adding full-time members Gannon University and Mercyhurst College, and associate member Long Island University-C.W. Post. The membership now consists of 16 full-time institutions and the one associate. All of the league’s full-time members are located within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, which makes the PSAC the largest one-state conference in the NCAA. The league has also grown to share the distinctions as: The largest conference in Division II, the largest football-playing conference in the NCAA, and, with 23, the conference that sponsors the most championships at the Division II level. Highly competitive on a regional and national level, PSAC schools annually combine to send nearly one-third of its teams into NCAA postseason play. Ultimately, the membership’s success has yielded 43 NCAA team and 238 individual title winners.

While proud of its athletic accomplishments, the league also has evolved into one of Division II’s finest from an academic standpoint. Today, nearly one-third of the PSAC’s estimated 6,200 participants are honored each year as “Scholar-Athletes” for maintaining a grade-point average of 3.25 or better - a total that has

nearly doubled since PSAC Scholar-Athletes were first recognized in the mid-1990s. Although all 16 current institutions are members of Division II, eight league schools also compete at the Division I level in select sports. PSAC schools enroll over 125,000 students and claim over 709,000 alumni, including 482,000 who reside in Pennsylvania. The PSAC is governed by the presidents of the 16 member institutions. It employs a commissioner, an associate, assistant commissioners and a director of media relations at its headquarters in Lock Haven, Pa.

CALIFORNIAThe Vulcans lose their all-time leading scorer in Brooque Williams, but return First-Team All-Region forward Kayla Smith for her senior season.

CLARIONThe Golden Eagles led the PSAC in blocks averaging over six per game, but their top two shot blockers are gone from last year, so their interior defense is questionable.

EDINBOROThe Fighting Scots look to make it back to the PSAC Tournament once again in 2011 despite the loss of All-PSAC First-Team performer Samantha Reimer.

GANNONThe Golden Knights had their most successful year in school history last season, reaching the NCAA Final Four before falling to Emporia State University.

INDIANASarah Pastorek was second in the conference a season ago shooting 52 percent from the field and returns for her sophomore season to power the Crimson Hawk offense.

LOCK HAVENAfter a tough season last year finishing 7-18, the Bald Eagles hope to bounce back and challenge for a playoff spot come March.

MERCYHURSTRebounding the basketball is an important part of Head Coach Deanna Richard’s philosophy, as the Lakers finished third in the PSAC with their +3.6 rebounding margin.

SLIPPERY ROCKWith nine-consecutive losing seasons, Slippery Rock hopes to get back into the thick of things and capture a berth to the PSAC Tournament.

BLOOMSBURGThe Huskies averaged over eight three pointers per game last season which led the PSAC. Junior Dana Wieller returns after she netted 79 treys last year.

MANSFIELDThe Mountaineers hope to improve on their 5-21 season from a year ago. Mallory Moore returns after leading the team in scoring, rebounding and steals in 2009-10.

CHEYNEYThe Wolves believe that offensive rebounding is a key to success and hope to duplicate their performance from last season, as they led the PSAC in this statistic.

EAST STROUDSBURGThe Warriors hope to improve on their 4-23 season from a year ago. Without any seniors on the team, East Stroudsburg will be looking for leadership elsewhere.

KUTZTOWNThe Golden Bears had a successful 2009-10 campaign and hope to continue their winning ways this year. Melissa McQuade returns for her senior season to lead Kutztown.

MILLERSVILLEAfter winning the PSAC East last season, the Marauders return 10 players from a team that finished the season with a 25-6 overall record and advanced to the NCAA Sweet 16.

SHIPPENSBURGThe Red Raiders must replace one of the most prolific scorers in conference history with the loss of Lauren Beckley. Regis-tering 2,407 points, she ranks 15th all-time in Division II scoring.

WEST CHESTERThe Golden Rams have had four-straight winning seasons behind long-time Head Coach Deirdre Kane. West Chester returns 12 players from a team that went 19-10 last year.
