IN MEMORIAM

STEFAN MARINOV

MY SCIENTIFIC TESTAMENT

After having walked so many years on the thorny wayof truth, I became tired. My books and papers are myscientific testament.

I hope that soon the absolute (Newtonian) space-time concepts, which I restored by numerousexperiments and by a simple mathematical theory, will be accepted by the scientific community as thosecorresponding to physical reality.

2 SEPTEMBER 1997

I hope that the perpetual motion machines, of whichI constructed many prototypes without closing theenergetic circle, will successfully be built by otherpeople.

And if my achievements in space-time physics, inelectrodynamics and in the domain of the violation ofthe laws of conservation will be silenced also aftermy death, by leaving this world I can only repeat theeternal words: feci quod potui.

Graz, Austria, 15 July 1997  /s/ Stefan Marinov

A STRONG VOICE IS MISSINGA tribute to Stefan Marinov

Before Stefan Marinov decided that there were kinderand gentler friends to be met, he left this Last Willand Testament dated 15 July 1997:

My death is no person's fault. Please notify the following of my death:

My son , Maxim Ma ri no v, my wife Ele naKiriakova... in Sofia.

My son is a Substitute Minister of Bulgarian Industryand speaks English. My brother, Nicholas Marinov,is a resident of Sydney but presently on an extended

journey through Europe. These three people are myheirs. I wrote a letter in Bulgarian to all three of

them. These three letters were left open and may beread. Please kindly fax these letters, written inBulgarian, to the fax number in Sofia, as well as allother letters left behind.

I leave three savings accounts in the following banksand account numbers: ....I hereby request that the banks transfer theseaccounts to my son in Bulgaria. All items in my apartment are left for my friendWerner Emig. ...

Please inform the following persons in Graz, Austria

of my death:[Stefan listed four names with phone numbers.]

And the following persons in foreign countries:1. Prof. Panos Pappas2. Prof. Umberto Bartocci3. Prof. George Galeczki4. Hal Fox.

Please fax to these four persons my ScientificTestament.

The books and other items left on my bed are to behanded to the persons indicated. My body is to betransferred to the Medical Faculty of the University of

Graz, Austria. I thank the Austrian government for itshospitality and for conferring upon me the Austrian

citizenship in difficult times when I was a fugitivefrom Bulgaria.

Signed /Stefan Marinov/

Letter from Erwin SchneebergerGraz, Austria, 12 August 1997,

The tragic and sad story of Stefan Marinov, who wasa friend of mine since 8 months, is that he committedsuicide on July 15 by jumping from an outsidestaircase of the library building at the University ofGraz. A student, who had seen him, reported that hewas standing backwards, leaning back so far until hefell down without a cry. He died on way to thehospital. Stefan left some letters in his flat, some forhis local friends and some Cyrillic written for hisfamily in Bulgaria. Although he left names andtelephone numbers for the police (!), they did not

inform anyone, even his son Marin Marinov who isvice-Minister of Industry in Bulgaria. So I and most ofhis other friends were informed nearly 2 weeks laterby a journalist of a local newspaper, who had gottenan unofficial hint. I informed Professor Pappas inGreece, who had the address of Stefan's son, so hecould inform him. Mr. M. Marinov came last week toGraz. He was allowed by the authorities to enterStefan's lodging, so we got his ‘scientific testament.'

For all his friends, Stefan's decision is absolutelyunbelievable. He was a powerful, enthusiasticphysicist with a bright smile on his face until the last

time I had seen him on July 13. On this occasion hegave me his editions of Deutsche Physik , numbers 3through 22, about 50 pieces each, to store it in myhouse, because Stefan gave up his second flat, so hehad no room to keep it. But I could not realize hisfinal intention.

There have been 2 disappointments for Stefan, hisinertial-force driven vehicle is an artifact, andAmpere's formula seems to be correct, as he realizedfrom some experiments he made with Dr. Pappas inGreece, about 2 weeks before his death. I havegotten to know Stefan on my experiments with

PAGD-devices of the Correas', of Canada. As myefforts to replicate their system clearly show, thatthere is no generation of electric energy. I would askyou, if you have any knowledge of a successfulverification. Thank you.

Sincerely, Erwin Schneeberger

NE W ENERGY NEWS 3

August 8, 1997In a letter to George Miley and other CF Editors,Robert W. Bass wrote:

I was appalled by word of Marinov's suicide. For aprofessed Christian (about which he and I hadcorresponded) this is like saying, "OK, Lucifer, youwin! I give up!"

Marinov, in my opinion, was a real genius in thesense that he well understood all of the classicaltheoretical physics in great detail (sufficient detail toargue that historically some wrong turnings had beentaken, and that Maxwell's Equations as we normallysee them can be readily disproved by a large numberof table-top Faraday/Ampere type of experiments)an d yet Marino v was a n e xcee di ng ly go odexperimentalist who invented and had built andtested a large number of VERY complicated electro-mechanical & hydro-electromagnetic devices &systems.

A native of Bulgaria (and former Assistant Prof. ofPhysics from 1960 to 1974 at Sofia University), oncertain occasions in 1966-67, 1974, and 1977 he wasforcibly confined to mental hospitals and givenpsychiatric "treatment" because of political dissent. In1977 he got a passport and in 1978 l ived inWashington, D.C.; later he lived in Italy and Austria.

He was fluent in both English, German, Russian andother languages.

He was involved publicly with many quarrels with theEditor of Nature , who refused to print either hispapers or his Letters to the Editor. He retaliated bysecuring the funds to place full-page ads in Nature expressing his frustration with the dogmatic attitudeof the Establishment.

He claimed to have seen in operation and learned thesecret of the so-called "Swiss ML converter" orTESTATIKA electrical generator [which gets free

energy from nowhere], which was discovered by PaulBaumann who is the head of the 500-memberChristian religious commune METHERNITHA inSwitzerland, which says they generate most of thee le ctri ci ty for h un dred s o f p eo pl e via such"perpetuum mobile" generators, which they areunwilling to share with this fallen world. He wassupposedly the only member who did not live in thecommune. He tried many times, but failed, topersuade them to share their allegedly greatdiscovery with the remainder of mankind.

He wrote a book "Divine Electromagnetism"

[available from East West Affiliates in Austria atMorellenfeldgasse 16, 8010 Graz, phone (0316) 37

70 93, for $70 + S&H] giving his take on the flaws inclassical EM as now taught and how allegedly"high-school level experiments" can flatly disprovesome parts of it in favor of other versions buried innow- forgotten old literature before the presentversion was settled on and now handed down by theEstablishment dogmatically.

He earned his living by being a groom for horses buthe was a prolific writer & inventor in German and hada large following who subscribed to his journalDeutsche Physik . His targets were school childrennot yet brainwashed by the Establishment intoaccepting false but dogmatically-taught ideas.

He was dead-certain that he had disproved all kindsof dogmatically-taught aspects of conventionalelectromagnetism, (Lorentz-Ampere Force Law,speed of light, special relativity, aether, Michelson-

Morley, etc..

In studying the first edition of his book, I found amistake in vector calculus and wrote to him, but hesent me the second edition in which anothermathematician had already corrected him.

He was 66 years old, butseemed much younger ("45or 50") and was an extremely vital andextraordinarilymagnetic, charismatic, enthusiastic and attractiveperson. I can understand his being "worn out" by theutterly monolithic refusal of the Establishment tolisten to his allegations that he had measured aether

drift and found in it the rotation of the earth (i.e. somediurnal variation). Perhaps he had measured adiurnal variation in the speed of light. The one thingI remember is that the blueprints for his numerousdevices all looked very professional & convincing andthe photos of his devices looked like they had reallybeen built, yet he had evidently also spent many

thousands of hours on extremely complicatedmathematical calculations in most of which I couldfind no mistake. (Few theoreticians are sufficientlyversatile to be electro-mechanically creativeexperimenters!)

He published detailed plans for a hydraulic-electro-magnetic perpetuum mobile and showed photos of itin operation, but nobody "important" paid theslightest attention to him.

What a tragedy!

Sincerely, /s/

Dr. Robert W. Bass
