Niyama Private Islands Maldives is a renowned surf destination and the only luxury surfing resort with a left hand point braking right on to the island. There are numerous uncrowded waves around, suitable for intermediate and advanced surfers, with some spots perfect for beginner lessons. Vodi (L) is the “house wave”, offering a long and racey rippable wall with barrels; Kasabu (R), a short boat ride away, is also very rippable with fun barrels at the end; a little bit further is Hocus Pocus, a short, hollow advanced wave.
And, of course, the ideal spot for a drink at sunset is our iconic Surf Shack, offering over 30 different rums from around the world!
