When you enter Lincoln Castle’s prison building you can hear the

Bear Dance tune playing. We can imagine it being played at a

medieval banquet for entertainment.

We had a go at playing it ourselves,

We played the Bear Dance with a violin, guitar and drums. What

musical instruments would they have used in medieval times?
