Key Instruction Key Function Description Send key Make or answer a call. Press the Send key in standby mode to enter All Calls list. End key End an active call or reject a call. Long press to Power on/Power off the phone. Exit from any interface to standby mode. Left select key Enter main Menu in standby mode. Switch to the options of left bottom submenu. Right select key Enter All list in Contacts in standby mode. Switch to the options of right bottom submenu. Erase character(s) while editing text. Cancel operation, exit to previous window. OK key Enter Freedom in standby mode. Press the OK key to confirm the commands and options selected. Confirm the character chosen while inputting characters. Up/Down key Scroll the cursor up and down. Used as selection key up and down for keying in com- mands and selecting options shown on the display. Remove the back cover. 2. Hold the UIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown and slip it into the card holder. 3. Insert the battery by aligning the gold contacts on the battery with the gold contacts in the battery compartment. Gently push down on the battery until it clicks into place. 4. Press the cover gently back into place until you hear a click. Charging the Battery 1. Plug out rubber away from the jack on the bottom of the handset and connect the lead from the charger to the socket on the bottom of the phone. (Note: The side with arrow should be upright while connecting). 2. Connect the charger to a standard wall AC socket. 3. When the charging animation on the screen stops, the charging is completed. The charging takes usually up to 2 ~ 3 hours. During charging, it is a normal phenomenon that the battery, phone and char- ger may get hot. 4. After the completion of charging, disconnect the charger from the phone and AC socket. Powering on/ off Your Phone Please hold the End key to power on/off the phone. The phone will auto- matically search for the network. Besides sending and receiving calls in standby mode, you can also: Press the Left select key to enter main Menu. Installing the UIM Card and BatterySwitchoff your phonebefore installingor replacing thebattery andUIMcard.1. Removethebackcover.
