Installing the UIM Card and BatterySwitchoff your phonebefore installingor replacing thebattery andUIMcard.1. Removethebackcover.

2. Hold theUIMcardwith the cut corner orientedas shownand slip itintothecardholder.

3. Insertthebatterybyaligningthegoldcontactsonthebatterywiththegold contacts in thebattery compartment.Gently pushdownon thebatteryuntilitclicksintoplace.

4. Pressthecovergentlybackintoplaceuntilyouhearaclick.

Charging the Battery 1. Plugoutrubberawayfromthejackonthebottomofthehandsetand

connecttheleadfromthechargertothesocketonthebottomofthephone.(Note:Thesidewitharrowshouldbeuprightwhileconnecting).

2. ConnectthechargertoastandardwallACsocket.

3. When the charginganimationon the screen stops, the charging iscompleted.The charging takesusually up to 2~ 3hours.Duringcharging,itisanormalphenomenonthatthebattery,phoneandchar-germaygethot.

4. After the completionof charging, disconnect the charger from thephoneandACsocket.
