Google Beach at Cannes Lions

Visitors to the Google Beach this year’s Cannes Lions were invited to Androidify a water bottle at a pop-up created by Transformers’ UK partner. Budget permitting, the design of the pop-up can contribute hugely to the overall brand experience. In this instance, imaginative display including a dry cleaning style moving track and hexagonal storage for blanks created a highly visual activation in which the design software was kept simple to minimise queue time.

Festive Season at Galleria Mall, Abu Dhabi Galleria, a luxury mall on Al Maryah Island, deployed YrDesigner for an immensely popular 12-day activation at its first ever Festive Market.   Via our unique touch screens and software, users first selected a background design from a pre-loaded pool of graphic assets. They were able to selected up to 4 individual foreground elements, before adding optional text and a template (or overlay). The Transformers team printed and heat pressed the design onto a T-shirt using the latest dye sublimation technology. This entire process took around 5 minutes per shirt, from start to finish. The on-screen content was customised for the young audience: bespoke assets created especially for Galleria included a series of custom-branded overlays, while the destination’s minimalist badge logo was introduced as an additional foreground element.
