You Will Need

You’ll need water in one and a quarter

cup, then eight ounces of plant oil, add three

eggs, but beware: don’t consume raw batter.

Heat your oven to three-hundred fifty

Add grease to base of pan, sized ten by ten

In a bowl, beat mix, water, eggs, and oil

on low speed for thirty seconds. Then

for two minutes more at medium toil,

(Remember: scrape bowl occasionally)

Pour in pan, bake as directed. Do not

remove yet; wait ten minutes patiently.

Cool for frosting, or enjoy while it’s hot.
