MORMON TABERNACLE CHOIR - Experience a Weekly Broadcast Performance! The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square traces its roots to a small choir which performed for the first time in August 1847, just one month after the pioneers arrived in the Salt Lake Valley. Since then, the Choir has grown to be one of the world’s most recognized and revered musical organizations. The Choir is composed of 360 volunteers and has performed across the country and in 28 foreign countries, from acclaimed concert halls to inaugurations of U.S. presidents. It has earned many awards, including a Grammy Award for the rendition of “The Battle Hymn of the Republic” and three Emmy Awards. The Orchestra at Temple Square, an all-volunteer symphony orchestra organized in 1999, performs with the Tabernacle Choir. YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK - One of the USA’s Most-Magnificent Natural Wonders! On March 1, 1872, Yellowstone became the first U.S. National Park. Its purpose was for all to enjoy the unique hydrothermal and geologic wonders., plus its abundant wildlife. Yellowstone National Park is a nearly 3,500-sq.-mile wilderness recreation area atop a volcanic hot spot. Mostly in Wyoming, the park spreads into parts of Montana and Idaho too. Yellowstone features dramatic canyons, alpine rivers, lush forests, hot springs and gushing geysers, including its most famous, Old Faithful. It's also home to hundreds of animal species, including bears, wolves, bison, elk and antelope. NATIONAL ELK REFUGE - Thousands Seeking Winter Protection! Imagine taking a horse-drawn sleigh ride among an elk herd numbering in the thousands. This is an adventure and experience our special group will enjoy, weather permitting. Thousands of elk will have migrated from the higher elevations of the mountains. In the refuge they are protected and fed. It’s going to be a real “up close and personal” safe experience to be added to one’s accumulated travel achievements. COMMENTS ON AIRLINES USED & OTHER IMPORTANT POINTS As part of Cheyenne Travel Agency, Inc. dba Please Go Away™ Vacations’ unmatched personal service of “taking” travelers on the personally escorted travel experiences, as opposed to “sending” them on their own; while at the same time providing value-added “all inclusive” travel experiences where everything specifically referenced in the descriptive brochure is already included in the price shown. This includes, but is not limited to, round trip air transportation from a specific named departure city or cities (changes in the departure city used are allowed with proper adjustment of pricing). The identity of specific carrier(s) used, which may include a code-share flight, will be assigned and disclosed at a later date, when known. In the alternative, individual travelers may arrange their own air transportation that properly coincides with arrival and departure requirements of the specific tour departure. If done, proper adjustments will be calculated. In today’s travel world, airlines regularly charge to check luggage, for overweight luggage, and for other services. When imposed, airlines require the traveler to individually pay for these amounts with credit or debit cards, or cash. Because of this, such charges are not included in any indicated tour cost. Flight air fares will be calculated from Wichita, KS unless schedules or availability indicate otherwise. We are pleased to attempt to arrange flights from other departure cities if more convenient for, and requested by, our travelers.
