The Festival Acadien de Wedgeport is a event the celebrates the survival of the acadiens. It is a day that is filled with events for all ages. Some events include a childrens fishing tournament, presentations, and displays on the Wedgeport family odysseys during the Great upheaval of 1755-1763, music, dance, traditional food, theatrical presentations, commemorative mass and the presentation of a new acadien monument.
