The Festival Acadien de Wedgeport is a event the celebrates the survival of the acadiens. It is a day that is filled with events for all ages. Some events include a childrens fishing tournament, presentations, and displays on the Wedgeport family odysseys during the Great upheaval of 1755-1763, music, dance, traditional food, theatrical presentations, commemorative mass and the presentation of a new acadien monument.

• Yarmouth has many different events during different times of the year. These all range from the art gallery festival in November to the Santa Clause parade in December and the Family Beach Party in July. There’s also a Shark Scramble in August along with dozens of annual Yarmouth Events!
