Dear YAAEYC Members, WOW! What an eventful month October was! The YAAEYC Conference was fantastic as always, thank you to all who attended. Also, a big thank you to our new co‐chairs for the event: Molly Diehl and Shanda Opsitos, they did a wonderful job. We also need to thank the conference com‐ mittee for all of their hard work as well. We were also thankful for the passing of the state budget; hopefully it has alleviated some of your stresses! I also hope you all had a chance to be active participants in PA Promise week. We need to continue our ad‐ vocacy efforts for early childhood education! We will make a difference! Get out your 2010 calendars and mark the dates of our upcoming events ‐ the Week of the Young Child, April 11‐17, 2010, and Early Childhood Action Day in May (exact date has not yet been set). I hope you have a safe, happy, and healthy holiday season!
