We are continuing our ‘All Aboard!’ topic from last term by exploring space! Our topic started with mysterious intruders causing destruction in our classroom. We then received CCTV footage of a satellite (possibly an alien spaceship) crashing into the school field which has left us with many questions. We then received photographic evidence of aliens crossing the school field! We will be working hard to find evidence and solve the crime. Alongside this, we will be focusing on the space history, including space travel in the past, space travel now and space travel in the future. We will also be looking at a range of important historical figures who have made significant contributions towards space travel. PE PE lessons will continue to be held on Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons. This term, Mrs Harris will be teaching indoor games with a focus on team spirit and fair play and Mrs Draper will be teaching gymnastics. Welcome to Year 2 – Mars Class We hope you’ve had a restful half-term break. We are really excited about our new topic, reports, parents’ evening and the sleepover. If you have any questions, queries or concerns, please feel free to pop in for a chat or you can email me at: [email protected].
