Beginning in September the schedule and format for the kids ministry will incorporate our youngsters with the

whole church body by inviting them to learn with kids their age but also to be in the worship service with their fami-

lies. At OPBC we believe it is helpful for kids to be a part of the church congregation during worship services to experi-

ence what “big” church is really about.

In short, the children will begin service with their families. Then before the sermon begins, the teachers will

guide the youngsters to The Praise Factory and continue their curriculum. Our kids have loved being a part of The

Praise Factory and our teachers and volunteers are truly dedicated to providing a safe Gospel learning environment at

the start of this new school year. We are very excited to see our children grow in the

Lord and be a part of a wonderful church family.

With this new school year in mind, please pray for our kids as they head back

into the classroom. Some of them to new schools and new people. Pray for Powha-

tan’s teachers as they prepare to be the great influence they are to our kids and pray

that the Gospel may be lived out and proclaimed in our county.

The 9:45AM hour will consist of The Gospel

Project immerses kids and preschoolers in the gospel

through every story, theological concept, and call to mis-

sion from Genesis to Revelation. Ultimately, the gospel

message changes everything; heart transformation can

only take place when a child experiences the gospel.

Through The Gospel Project for

Kids, kids and preschoolers will

understand the Bible is not just

a collection of stories, but one

unified story—God’s story of

redemption.

The 11:00AM hour Answers for Kids Bible

Curriculum combines three popular illustrated

“kits” (Beginnings, Seven C’s of History, and Questions) into

an all-in-one 30-lesson course designed to greatly strength-

en the biblical foundations of children’s lives. We want our

kids and their friends to know and love God’s Word.

Through the gifts and prayers of families like yours, we are

committed to providing a great place to encourage their

love for God to grow.

“For you are all children of light, children of the day. We are not of the night or of the darkness.” 1 Thessalonians 5:5 Your circumstances and conditions are not coincidental in your journey. God’s timing is impecca-ble. Don’t let pride of timidity come between you and the presence of God. Journey to the shores of Thessalonica where you’ll write your name in the sand.

Is family life a challenge? Is work driving you crazy? Do you know God has a purpose for your life, but you can't figure out what it is? Know that your circum-stances are not coincidental. And God's timing is im-peccable. Join Beth Moore on the Thessalonian shores as she walks you through the truth of each verse of 1 and 2 Thessalonians. In this study, you'll face crises, afflictions, relationships, doubts, con-cerns, and fears. Find encouragement for living the Christian life now and hope for when Christ returns.

Join us for a time of praise and fellowship with motorcycle ministries and riders of faith in a rally to support the most innocent among us, the unborn.
