Write the hazards that the following materials may do to people when not used properly:

DISINFECTANT

The chemicals in disinfectants can cause damage to your respiratory and circulatory systems, heart damage, respiratory problems, and damage to your liver, kidneys and eyes.

INSECTICIDES

Insecticides have been linked to a wide range of human health hazards, ranging from short-term impacts such as headaches and nausea to chronic impacts like cancer, reproductive harm, and endocrine disruption.

Its acute dangers are nerve, skin, and eye irritation and damage, headaches, dizziness, nausea, fatigue, and systemic poisoning - can sometimes be dramatic, and even occasionally fatal.

Chronic health effects may occur years after even minimal exposure to pesticides in the environment, or result from the pesticide residues which we ingest through our food and water. Moreover, insecticides can cause many types of cancer in humans. Some of the most prevalent forms include leukemia, non-Hodgkins lymphoma, brain, bone, breast, ovarian, prostate, testicular and liver cancers.

LPG

Inhaling Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) can cause dizziness, hallucinations, muscle weakness, nausea, chills, general numbness, lack of coordination and central nervous system depression - may cause breathing difficulties and/or heart failure.

With repeated exposure the longer term effects include:

- Brain and nerve damage, seizures, tremor, brain hemorrhage, impaired memory, mood swings, depression, inability to think clearly/logically- Cardiovascular effects such as malformed blood cells, heart damage, irregular and/or depressed heart rate, high blood pressure,- Lungs may be damaged- Acute and chronic liver and kidney inflammation which may permanently damage both organs if prolonged- Reduced red and white blood cells, depressed immune function, increase in infections

Moreover, LPG is highly flammable with a high risk of explosion. It can cause fire that can burn houses and other properties.

BLEACHING LIQUID

Bleach exposure can cause irritation in the eyes, mouth, lungs and on skin. Individuals with asthma or other breathing problems are particularly susceptible. Also, it can burn human tissue, internally or externally, especially in small children.

MURIATIC ACID

Sudden and intense exposure to muriatic acid will put you at risk for many acute health effects. These dangers are often reversible. Inhalation of the substance may cause coughing, hoarseness, inflammation and ulceration of the respiratory tract, or chest pain. When muriatic acid comes in contact with your skin, you are at risk for severe burns, ulceration or even scarring. Additional acute health effects include vomiting, diarrhea or nausea.

Exposure to muriatic acid over a long period of time can cause gastritis, chronic bronchitis and dermatitis. Extensive exposure in low concentrations may also cause dental problems, including discoloration or erosion of the teeth.
