Announcements

Youth Mission Trip - July 23rd - 28th. Please pray for our youth and leaders as they travel this week and work in the lives of others. Wednesday Night Bible Study - Job: Into the Fire, Out of the Ashes by Tony Cartledge. Pastor Trent will begin this new study Wednesday, July 25th at 6:30 pm. No Personnel Committee Meeting Thursday, July 26th. Meet-n-Eat - Thursday, July 26th at 7:00 pm at IHOP. July 29th is Food Pantry Sunday, so don’t forget your food pantry donations! Supporting our local Food Pantry is an on-going mission project of the Angelic Ministers. Food collection barrels are located in the education building for you to place your food donations. A grocery list is included in today’s bulletin. Nominating Committee Meeting - Sunday, July 29th at 12:30 pm in the Conference Room. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, August 2nd at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Church Council Meeting - Sunday, August 5th at 6:00 pm. The “Backpack Buddies” program is an ongoing ministry KBC has with Knightdale Elementary School. Although we aren’t delivering bags during the summer, we are continuing to collect items so that we will be prepared to start back in September. Donations like grits, oatmeal, soft packs of fruits, vegetables, soups, applesauce, pudding, canned meats, ramen noodles, individual packs of peanut butter, etc. are greatly appreciated. Thank you for all your help with this special ministry for the children in Knightdale! Altar Flowers - There are Sundays still available to put flowers in the Sanctuary in honor or memory of your loved ones. Dates available: August 26, October 14 and November 11. Come by the church office and sign up today! Missions Opportunity - We will be providing pre-game meals to the East Wake High JV and Varsity football teams several times this year. We are in need of persons to help serve on the afternoons that we are hosting the teams. If you are available and would be willing to help serve meals, please contact DeAnne Talley at 919-217-8076. The dates are August 17th, August 30th, September 27th and October 5th. All help will be greatly appreciated!
