Stop Hunger Now - Today is the final day for bringing in your quarters! Thanks for all your support! Meeting with Johnny Ross - Today at 6:00 pm in the Fellowship Hall. All Deacon, Personnel and Finance committee members are requested to attend. Meet-n-Eat - Monday, October 29th at 7:00 pm at IHOP. Finance Committee Meeting - Tuesday, October 30th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Upward Registration has begun and ends November 6th for basketball and cheerleading. The next evaluation day is scheduled for Wednesday, October 31st, at 7:00 pm in the Family Life Center. Properties Committee Meeting - Thursday, November 1st at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Blood Drive - Sunday, November 4th from 12:30-4:30 pm in the Family Life Center. Go by the church office, or call, to sign up. Wedding Shower - You are invited to a wedding shower for Diana Calhoun and Jody Jones, son of Bob and Judy Jones, on Sunday, November 4th from 2:00 - 3:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. The couple is registered at Bed, Bath & Beyond, Belk and Target. The couple will be getting married in December. Team Meetings and Church Council - Church Council will have a meeting Sunday, November 4th at 5:00 pm in the Conference Room. Each of the teams (Discipleship, Evangelism, Fellowship, Worship and Missions/Ministry) need to plan on having a meeting before Church Council meets. Please call the church office and let us know when your meeting is scheduled. Advent Devotional - We would like to publish an advent devotional this year and we need your help. If you are willing to write a devotional or two that would stir us toward remembering the true meaning of Christmas, it would be greatly appreciated. If you can pick a scripture and write a prayer for the devotional, that would be great. If not, we will prayerfully do that for you. Kids, you can help as well! Please submit them to Cathy Maynard at [email protected], turn them into the office, or to Cathy. We need them no later than November 4th.

Website Committee Meeting - Tuesday, November 6th at 7:00 pm in the Conference Room. Philathea Sunday School Class Meeting - Thursday, November 8th at 10:00 am in the Conference Room. Veteran’s Day Tribute - You are invited to come as we pay tribute to our veterans on Sunday, November 11th at the Blue Star Memorial downtown Knightdale. It will begin at 12:30 pm and is sponsored by Two Green Thumbs Garden Club. Deacon’s Meeting - Sunday, November 11th at 5:00 pm in the Conference room. The “Backpack Buddies” program is an ongoing ministry KBC has with Knightdale Elementary School. Plastic bags, used to distribute the food, are not needed at this time, but food items are needed. Thank you for all your help with this special ministry for the children in Knightdale!
Samaritan’s Purse - It's time to pack shoe boxes for Samaritan's Purse. If you need a shoe box please come by the church office to pick one up. You can drop them off in the Conference Room once you have them packed and ready to ship. Please see Robin Farrington if you have any questions. Shoe Box Wrapping Party - A church-wide wrapping party
is scheduled for Wednesday, November 14th from 6:30-7:45 pm in the FLC. Church Budget - The Finance committee is reviewing the budget by line item and we need your input. If you are responsible for any line items associated with the budget, we would like for you to present your request as soon as possible. When looking at your request we are asking everyone to see what or how you may be able to reduce the cost by 10%. If you would like to know what was spent last year contact a member of the committee or Robin Farrington (919-266-7690) and we will be more than glad to help you with this information. Message From The Properties Committee - We would like to ask everyone to be mindful of how you display flyers/announcements around the church. Please do not tape anything on painted surfaces such as the doors and walls. The tape pulls the paint off and we want to keep our church looking beautiful. Thank you!

However, any permanent changes in the schedule should continue to be handled by the lead coordinator.

Attention KBC Parents: If you have a child participating in children’s worship, please make sure they are picked up at the end of the church service by a parent or adult. The children’s worship leaders will only allow children to be picked up by a parent or adult from the nursery, toddler, 2-3 year old, 4-5 year old, or 6-7 year old classrooms. We love our children at KBC and want to ensure their safety!
