memories. Thailand is a getaway in Asia where nobody

Language and Culture
Thai is the official language of Thailand while English isthe unofficial second language. Road signs are written inboth Thai and English. Around 94.6 per cent of Thai peopleare Buddhists, 4.6 per cent are Muslims and 0.7 per centpeople are Christians. Compassion and tolerance areconsidered to be true virtues by the people. Thai culturehas been influenced by both Indian and Chinese cultures.The citizens are usually warm, friendly, easy going and veryhospitable. Approximately 80 per cent of its nearly 65million citizens are ethnically Thai while others are ofChinese, Indian, Malay, Mon, Khmer, Burmese, and Laoorigin.
