WORK LOAD RETURN OF CONTRACTORS/FIRM’S WORKING UNDER AOR OF CE EASTERN COMMAND FOR CLASS ‘A’ TO ‘D’ AND ‘S’ REGISTERED CONTRACTORS OF

MES AND UN-REGISTERED CONTRACTORS FOR Q/E DEC 2019

1. The work load of the contractors/firms working in AoR of the Eastern Command Kolkata is enclosed as under :-

(a) Part-I : List of working contractors/firms of Eastern Command & other Commands considered capable/not capable of handling more load. (b) Part-II(A) : List of working contractors/firms of Eastern Command & other Commands having no load but banned for issue of tender on account of reasons other than cancellation of contracts. (c) Part-II(B) : List of working contractors/firms of Eastern Command & other Commands having no load but banned for issue of tender due to cancellation of contracts. (d) Part-II(C) : List of working contractors/firms of Eastern Command & other Commands having no load due declared un-enlisted due to reconstitution of firm or other reasons.

2. The WLR is being uploaded on website ‘www.mes.gov.in’ which can be referred to and has not been circulated because of ‘Green Initiative’ taken by this office. 3. This WLR includes all working contractors registered with MES as well as unregistered contractors currently undertaking works under AoR of this Command. The remarks for capability to handle more work load are indicated in the relevant column after compilation of reports received from Zone and has been approved by Command CE. 4. All Zonal CEs/CWEs/GE(I)/AGE(I) under AoR of this command are required to take their own decisions regarding the contractors/firms working under different Command/DGNP(s)/ADG and having different remarks/adverse remarks regarding capability to undertake further works as per principles set out in E-in-C’s Branch letter No 66546/SS/R-2/34/E8 dt 08 Apr 2020 till it is superseded by E-in-C’s Branch. 5. No request for change in remarks in WLR will be entertained for any event/cause which has happened after the last date of the quarter whose report is circulated eg for QE ending Dec 2019 WLR events happening after 31 Dec 2019. Such cases shall be dealt in WLR of next quarter. Contd 2/-…

6. Remarks under column 07 of Part-I, column 04 of Part-II(A), column 05 of Part-II(B) and column 04 of Part-II(C) have been approved by Chief Engineer. 7. All the court orders regarding opening of bids in particular case shall however be followed in liaision with Zonal CE/CWE/this office as applicable. Yours faithfully,
