Workshops by nature are self-contained. Unlike a course that requires more prep time, reading, and just more intensive in nature. Workshops cover only a portion of a larger topic.

ONE objective per workshop. If you try and “cover everything under the sun”, your learners will be overwhelmed.

Specify the workshop title and detailsPlan the topic and how you plan to structure the session in increments of 10, 15, and 30 minutes, etc.

Decide on ONE objective per session/workshop (don’t try to cover everything, your learners will feel overwhelmed and walk away with very little.)

Decide on a time frame and stick to it, don’t go under or overtime. (People love structure)

In your event copy, specify what will be covered and the takeaway.

Tailor your bio so it resonates with your targeted audience.

Plan to engage them with questions, rhetorical or activities.

Plan breakouts/activities even if you’re teaching online. (People learn from “doing”)
