There are many finer aspects to the construction of a Bushtracker that you simply cannot see anywhere else but at our factory.

Uniquely, Bushtracker are a full custom manufacturer. We start with a blank canvas and then work with you to create a highly personalised caravan, tailored to your individual taste and requirements. In fact, in 25 years we are yet to create two identical Bushtrackers.
At Bushtracker, your layout design does not affect price. You can work with one of our consultants to create a unique design that is all yours and best suits your intended travelling lifestyle. If the layout fits, then we can do it. You will be amazed at just how much we can squeeze into a layout.

SUSPENSION – RUGGED. GO ANYWHERE. PROVEN RELIABILITY.
As every Bushtracker caravan we create is designed to go anywhere that you are adventurous enough to takeit, we need to ensure that we provide you with the strongest, most capable suspension available. Whenresearching this 25 years ago we looked to the Australian Defence force for inspiration. It is widely recognisedthat the Australian Defence Force require a suspension that can literally go anywhere, has a huge amountof travel and is easy to maintain in any location. Therefore, after much product testing, we adopted a militarygrade load sharing suspension that is designed for off road use and yet maintains a safe and comfortable ride in all conditions. Bushtracker suspension offers many attributes that you simply cannot find anywhere else.
The benefit of being a custom manufacturer is that we can also customise your suspension to suit your travelling needs. Therefore, we offer several systems that are just as rugged as our standard load sharing system but feature various other attributes. These includes Load Sharing Coil & Shock (LSC), Trailing arm coil & shock, plus Airbag suspen-sion with automatic and manual ride height adjustment. Single and dual axle suspensions are also available for our smaller caravans (14ft to 16ft).
There certainly are many alternative brands in the market to choose from, however, in 25 years of relentless product testing and customer feedback, we are yet to find a more capable and reliable alternative to what Simplicity Suspensions offer.

� Load Sharing capability Weight articulates from leading to trailing arm in caterpillar like fashion, spreading the load evenly at all times.
� Class leading travel Wheels can travel up as well as down, to maintain positive traction in most off-road conditions.
� High strength Stub axles 60 Tonne sheer strength per axle means zero failures when in remote and rugged terrain.
� Ease of maintenance Easy to maintain and align, there are very few moving parts and can be serviced anywhere nationwide.
� Commercial sized brakes Commercial sized drum brakes ensure long life pads can supply maximum breaking ability without fade.
� Matched stud patterns Landcruiser 5 stud is standard, however we can match nearly every make of vehicle to allow interchangeability of our spares to your vehicle.

WALL FRAMES – DESIGNED TO LAST A LIFETIME.
To create a superior strength caravan, you must first build the frame before you fit out the interior. Exactly the same as constructing a house, aeroplane, ship or vehicle. This way all bulkheads and cabinetry can be fastened securely to the frame, providing maximum strength, rigidity and longevity.
We would never rely on just glue and capping to hold your hard-earned investment together. That method is only good for a little while and adopted to reduce costs. This falls outside of our philosophy to only provide the very best and robust solution.
Like a modern home, our frame allows us to run all the electrical wiring internally through our fully insulated roof
and wall frames, maximising internal cupboard storage space for all your homewares, clothing, food, etc. This feature also means that you have far greater choice of where you can position lighting, speakers and power outlets. We are custom after all. And like a modern home, our caravans are highly retro fit table for future upgrades.
Speaking of insulation…a standard feature within Bushtracker Caravans are 25mm thick walls and a class leading 75mm thick roof. All fully insulated with flame retardant cooler board to maximise ambient temperature in all climates.
ENGINEERED FOR STRENGTH AND LONGEVITY
10 YEAR STRUCTURAL WARRANTY ON CHASSIS AND FRAME
Currently the market is flooded with manufacturers spruiking all manner of construction methods. From aluminium C channel framework - fastened only with rivets, bonded or riveted alumin-ium skinned plastic sheeting, the traditional method of stapled timber framework or CNC timber form ply, as well as the trendy, yet not so new – glued together fiberglass (foam core) sandwich panelling. There are more, however these are the main ones.
Now believe us when we say we have tested them all! Over and over again in some instances.
Since inception, we have looked to many industries for inspiration- aeronautical, luxury yachting, and the civil engineering industry to name a few. And we continue to do so as these industries are ever changing.
There is no doubt that there certainly are cheaper and quicker ways to build a caravan, however in all our years of product testing
every single method that has merit, we keep coming back to the proven fact that if you want a caravan that is dust proof, water tight, and will truly last a lifetime as opposed to merely a warranty period then a fully welded SHS and RHS aluminium frame is the correct answer.
We will never pretend this is the cheapest, nor the quickest way to build a caravan frame. However, our decades of off-road experience has definitively proven that we build the strongest, most capable caravan in Australia. Our frames are welded and bolted together, plus bolted through to the chassis, resulting in an unbreakable foundation that allows us to confidently offer a 10 year warranty on our chassis and frame - which doesn’t crack, fatigue, rot, delaminate or deteriorate over time. In fact, our chassis and frames are so strong that we do not need to tie our chassis down to the ground in the factory during assembly.

INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR DESIGN
You are limited only by your imagination when it comes to custom designing your new Bushtracker. We offer a multitude of colours, elegant finishes, textures, ultra-modern lighting and audio accessories. This is your home so we let you choose how you would like it to look, feel and sound. The scope of choices available include, but are not limited to:
� Vinyl flooring choices
� Cupboard door and drawer sizes, elevations and colours
� Lighting arrays internally and externally
� A multitude of accessories and appliances such as fridge’s, air conditioners & heaters
� Audio and visual choices
� Upholstery choices – colour, leather or fabric
� Various external cladding choices ranging from traditional white or silver aluminium through to the clean and modern
fiberglass skin (thicker than industry standard of course), all bonded and fastened to our unbeatable aluminium frame
� Checker plate aluminium body armour in a polished silver finish or polyurethane ‘Raptor’ coated for even greater protection.

POWERING YOUR DREAMS
Through years of development, Bushtracker pioneered a fully integrated, self-managing lithium battery system that has since proven to be extremely reliable and easy to use. Powered by solar roof panels, we offer our clients complete off grid capabilities with fast charging and the ability to operate all the appliances you currently enjoy at home. As we have a number of configurations and user interfaces available, we will work with you to create a system that best suits your needs.

After all it is your hard-earned money that is at stake and it’s too late once you take off down the road and realise what you have chosen isn’t what they said it would be in the brochure. You won’t find these answers online or at a caravan show. You will however discover a products merits at the factory.
At Bushtracker we adopt a very different approach to that of the rest of the industry. Being custom made, we control all
aspects of the design and construction process in house. We are not an assembly plant of third party supplied products. Instead, we design and build your caravan from the ground up, all here onsite at our factory on the Sunshine Coast.
Therefore it is only at the factory where you can truly discover how we build Australia’s best and most proven off-road luxury caravan. Additionally, you will discover all the ‘secret’ extra little details that collectively make our vans the best in the country for individual style, capability and durability.
