The process entails sacrifice of time, sacrifice of money, sacrifice of comfort, sacrifice of several worldly relations and sacrifice of many corporeal desires and pleasures.

Because we are the future...

The city of Makkah in Saudi Arabia has al-

ways been the spiritual center of the Islamic

faith: the world's 1.3 billion Muslims genuflect

in its direction during prayers. But in the final

months of the year, Islam's holiest city be-

comes even more vital, as an estimated 2.5

million pilgrims make their once-in-a-lifetime

journey to the site. This pilgrimage, known as

the Hajj, is one of the Five Pillars of Islam (the

others are the profession of Allah as the only

God and Mohammed as His prophet; fasting

during Ramadan; charitable giving and ritual

prayer) by which every practicing Muslim must

abide.

The Hajj consists of a five-day excursion, re-

quired by all physically and financially able

Muslims, to Mecca and the nearby holy sites of

Arafat, Mina, and Muzdalifah. Once there,

pilgrims perform a series of rituals to unify

themselves with other believers, absolve them-

selves of their sins and pay tribute to God

The origins of the Hajj date back to 2,000

B.C. when Ishmael,

the infant son of the

prophet Ibrahim (Or

Abraham, as he is

called in the Old Tes-

tament) and Ibrahim's

wife Hager were

stranded in the desert.

With Ishmael close to

death from thirst, Hager ran back and forth

between the hills of Safa and Marwa looking

for water until the angel Jibril (Gabriel)

touched down to earth and created a spring of

fresh water for the baby, known as the Well of

Zemzem. Following the orders of God, Ibrahim

is said to have built a monument at the site of

the spring known as the Kaaba.

Eid al-Adha is celebrated annually on the 10th

day of the 12th and the last Islamic month of

Dhual-Hijjah of the lunar Islamic calendar.Eid

al-Adha celebrations starts after the Hajj, the

annual pilgrimage to Makkah in Saudi Arabia

by Muslims worldwide, descend from Mount

Arafat.

here is hardly a man who doesn’t want

to look good and who doesn’t want to be out there impressing women. Awareness concerning trend and style amidst men has spread out very fast. However most tend to go wrong with their fashion statement. Following trend doesn’t mean that your individual style is suppressed. What style suits you is the only trend you should be following. Don't waste your money on clothes that make you look pale and ugly. There is no right or wrong color in making a fashion statement. The color that looks good on you is the trend. Don't wear shabby, unpolished and run-down shoes; that can be lethal for your style and kill your fashion statement. If what you are wearing is not comfortable and you can’t sit or walk properly then it is not going to make you feel or look like the style icon. Trend is a lot about comfort. When it comes to men especially there are some people who smell terrible despite using good perfumes. Drink plenty of water and eat lots of fresh fruits and green sal-ads. A smelly man makes no fashion state-ment no matter how hard he works on his style.

Shades of Camel

A Camel color hardly goes out of fashion. It looks perfect in every season and at any part of the day. Therefore, it is bound to be a part of men’s fashion for winter 2011. Chinos, trench coats and blazers in shades of Camel color are all a part of this year’s fashion list.

Socks

Chunky and colorful socks with bold prints are this season’s ultimate look. Socks that match with the color of the shoes should be opted and they should be pulled up just above the boot line and the pants should be tucked in just a bit into the socks. This is a complete bold and trendy street look for men this year 2011.

Double Breast Suits

Double Breast suits form an integral part of men’s fashion for the year 2011. They are equally good for men with broad shoulders as well as men with the slim waist. They give an up-market and trendy look to all the men who opt for these suits this winter.

Waist coat

Men’s fashion for the year 2011 is incom-plete without taking the waistcoats into account. They can be used both, formally and casually. They are the friendliest item of clothing which can be worn with casual jeans, formal suits, chinos etc.

Neutra l co lored Cardigans

Bold and chunky cardigans are most popu-lar ion this season. Neutral colors in cardi-gans add a style statement to this year’s fashion look for men. Therefore, a good neutral colored cardigan must be selected

Google announced that Google+ will be availa-

ble for Google Apps users. This means that the millions of people using Google Apps for their businesses will now have access to the Google+ social collaboration platform. With Google+’s unique features for search, selective sharing and rich communication, it offers consumers a very different user experience than the established social networks. For individuals, Google+ has quickly become a great place to build your interest graph — that is, find the latest content and people related to topics you’re inter-ested in. With its seamless integration with Google Apps, Google+ promises a very different type of social enterprise experience. In fact, Google+ has five unique advantages over other social business platforms.

1. Smart Integration With Existing Google Apps Google+ is fully integrated with Google Apps. As a user, you don’t need a new login — it’s just another tab like mail, cal-endar, docs or video. Thinking a bit ahead of where the product is, the possibilities that are opened up by the integration with Google Apps are pretty exciting. You can imagine “+1” buttons and rich collabora-tion across sites, docs, spreadsheets, presentations, blogs, videos, photos and more. Or imagine working within a doc and starting a hangout with collaborators while sharing your screen. For companies using Google Apps, taking advantage of these features would require no additional software, logins or changes in behavior.

2. Google+ Already Knows a Lot About You Because of its tight integration with Google Apps, Google+ could take advantage of what it already knows about each business user. Google+ is in a position to help

an enterprise user not only quickly build out his inter-nal circles, but also discover those outside the company who are talking about the same topics or industry.

3. Google+ Is Uniquely Positioned to Help You Find and Share Interesting Content Nobody has a better index of what’s on the web than Google. So nobody is better positioned to help you find interesting content and people from both inside and outside your company. Google+ Sparks let you follow the latest from the web on topics you’re interested in, and

one can imagine something simi-lar within your domain. Internal Sparks could let you quickly find content and experts within your company on work-related topics you’re most interested in.

4. Google+ Integrates Public and Private Sharing Unlike other social enterprise platforms, which keep most shared content behind company walls, Google+ integrates public and private sharing. When I’m using Google+, I can decide for each post whether I want to share it with my colleagues, my clients, or certain subsets of either cate-

gory.

5. Android Phones Sync Easily With the Entire Apps Suite Finally, an Android mobile phone brings this complete integration to users on the go. Activating Android hand-sets with your company’s Google Apps account brings all this productive and social functionality to the palm of your employees’ hands. And the wide variety of devices and carriers means greater flexibility.

'SixthSense ' is a weara-

ble gestural interface that augments the physical world around us with digital information and lets us use natural hand gestures to interact with that infor-mation. The miniaturization of computing devic-es allows us to carry computers in our pockets, keeping us continually connect-ed to the digital world, there is no link between our digital devices and our interactions with the physical world. Information is confined traditionally on paper or digitally on a screen. SixthSense bridges this gap, bringing intangible, digital information out into the tangible world, and allowing us to interact with this information via natural hand gestures. ‘SixthSense’ frees infor-mation from its confines by seamlessly integrating it with reality, and thus making the entire world your computer. The SixthSense prototype is comprised of a pocket projector, a mirror and a camera. The hardware components are coupled in a pendant like mobile weara-ble device. Both the projector and the camera are connected to the mobile computing device in the user’s pocket. The projector projects visual infor-mation enabling surfaces, walls and physical objects around us to be used as interfaces; while the camera recognizes and tracks user's hand gestures and

physical objects using computer-vision based techniques. The software pro-gram processes the video stream data captured by the camera and tracks the locations of the colored markers (visual tracking fiducials) at the tip of the user’s fingers using simple computer-vision techniques. The movements and ar-rangements of these fiducials are inter-preted into gestures that act as interac-tion instructions for the projected appli-cation interfaces. The maximum number of tracked fingers is only constrained by the number of unique fiducials, thus SixthSense also supports multi-touch and multi-user interaction. The SixthSense prototype implements several applications that demonstrate the usefulness, viability and flexibility of the system. The map application lets the user navigate a map displayed on a nearby surface using hand gestures, similar to gestures supported by Multi-Touch based systems, letting the user zoom in, zoom out or pan using intuitive hand movements. The drawing applica-tion lets the user draw on any surface by tracking the fingertip movements of the user’s index finger. SixthSense also recognizes user’s freehand gestures (postures).

After acquiring mobile devices company Motorola Mobility, Google is now looking forward to a new ven-ture which might possi-bly be the business of providing users with cellular ser-vices. Yes, you have heard it right. Google might soon launch cellular services in Spain in association with exist-ing cellular operators like Movistar, Orange & Vodafone. We can not confirm if this is actually true unless we hear something from Google in the first place. Whatever be it, the idea of Google of Google having a cellular network sounds pretty interesting as now they already have their own device manufacturing unit in terms of Motorola Mobili-ty; own operating system in terms of Android and having their own cellular network to power the cellular service will only bring Google more control over users’ mobile / cellu-lar activities! A number of people associated with Google (including engineers and co-workers) have received a starter pack which has a Nexus S testing sim-card with other docu-mentation. Each sim-card is associated with various oper-ators such as Orange and Vodafone and this gives us a feeling that Google has plans of becoming a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO). A MVNO does not have its own infrastructure but uses the infrastructure laid by other operators to run its telecom operations. Google already has a massive infrastructure around its Google Voice product which lets users make free calls to each other within US. Shown below is the package which contained the Google SIM card.

I JUST FOUND..

One of the greatest mysteries of the modern world is the Bermuda Triangle also know as “Devil’s Triangle”. The Bermuda Triangle is a region of the Atlantic Ocean between Bermu-da . Miami-FL , and San Juan-PR. The Triangle has been a place where ships and planes have disappeared and continue to disappear in ways that defy expla-nation. Many people have claimed that the happenings in this area fall beyond the bound-aries of human error and acts of nature and are likely linked to the paranormal or maybe even acts of extrater-restrial beings. There have been a substantial numbers of documents and re-ports from the triangle that show some inci-dents have been inac-curately reported and even embellished on by many. Though at the same time there are many other disappearances that have clearly been correctly reported and have remained unexplained despite considerable investiga-tions and deny explanation. Incidents have been reported including planes flying through what seemed like wormholes and thick unnat-ural cloud formations, ships disappearing in open waters leaving no signs. Two of the more well known and documented disappearances are as follows: Flight 19 – a training flight that went missing on December 5, 1945 while over the triangle. The impression is that the group of plains en-countered unusual phenomena and anoma-lous compass readings from still unexplained reasons even thought reports were that the flight took place on a calm and clear day. The

official navy report if the accident is ascribed as ” Cause or reason unknown” as to the dis-appearance. Mary Celeste – This documented story is often linked to the triangle but some dispute the fact that the happening actually took place in the triangle and instead perhaps happened off

the coast of Portugal. In 1872 the “Mary Celeste” was found abandoned without any trace of her crew or what may have happened to them. There have been many attempts at explaining some of the happen-ings in the Bermuda Triangle. From many natural explanations such as Methane Hy-drates , Compass Vari-ations, Hurricanes , Gulf Stream current, and Freak (rogue) Waves along with

simple human error and deliberate acts of destruction. Although there are some who say there is a lot more to the triangle and attribute a lot of its odd happenings to things such as leftover technology from the lost continent of Atlantis which sank under triangle waters , UFO’s and extraterrestrial beings , mysterious and anomalous forces controlling the triangle area. Will the mystery of the triangle ever be discov-ered ? Are the triangle happenings simply explained and occur no more often than inci-dents in other area’s of ocean around the world ? Or does the triangle hide a gateway to another world , or time warp enhanced worm-holes ?
