Sri Sathya Sai Yuva Samarpanam (SSSYS)

Sai Yuva Samarpranam is a zonal wise Youth meet. The main intention of this gathering is to reunite

existing sai youth and new youth in the respective zones and encourage them to actively participate

in all the sai activities. We are planning to accomplish these by following the below three

approaches:

a) Strengthening the existing programs by adding new youth

o Sri Sathya Sai Village Integrated Programo Balvikas

o SSS Vidyavahini

o DJP

o Sri Sathya Sai Maha Narayana Seva

o And more….

b) Strengthening the active sai youth by training and hand holding (in conducting meetings &

activities)

c) Starting new (Spiritual, Educare and Service) programs

Pre SSSYS tasks to be accomplished (Ground Work)

• Form the zonal organizing committee

• Zone wise lists to be formed

• Finalize the agenda in consultation with district committee, zonal office bearers, elderly

devotees and active youth

• Visit all Under graduate(UG) and post graduate(PG) colleges in the subzone;

o Take the acceptance of the principal.

o Present videos of swami on different areas like spiritual, service oriented, education etc.

o Interested students will register to join us in the meet.

o Identify one or two leads in each college and coordinate with them.

• Personally call the above 4, 5 & 7 lists and invite them for SYS by updating them the

agenda. Emphasize more on Sai Youth by taking their confirmation of attendance and SMSthem.

• Finalize the anchor and the speakers.

Sri Sathya Sai Yuva Samarpanam (SSSYS) Meeting

• Follow up of the youth to attend the meeting

• Start the meeting with Vedam



• Introducing the chief guests (two to three active youth)and update about minute to

minute agenda of the meeting

• Start the planned service activity near the venue specific to the location

• Lunch session

• Speakers to address the youth on the Sai Mission, role of youth and its importance

• Introduce the youth to Sub Zone leading youth coordinators (Bhajan Group, Balvikas,

and Village Service etc.)

• Update the regular schedule and activities in the Sub Zone by the Sub Zone youth

coordinator

• Sub zone coordinators should elaborate about the activities they have done and

commit about the activities they are going to do in the next couple of months

• Opportunities & how to join the activities

• Informal brain storming sessions within the group

• Forms to be filled by the attendees (interests, address, current profession and status)

• Oath taking by all youth by devoting time for sai activities (Days/week, Days/months,

Hours/day etc.)

• Activities mapping for sai youth

• End of session with Mangala Harathi

Post SSSYS Meeting

• All the coordinators should implement the activities as committed during the SSSYS

• They should call and take along those youth who have registered to their group and

activity in SSSYS

• Should keep the track of the progress of the activity

• At the end of the three months they should be able to publish the progress w.r.t

o Activities implemented

o Number of new youth registered, active youth taking part in regular activities

o Finalize the youth core team

o Number of beneficiaries

Resource Requirement

• Two Young Speakers

• One Anchor

• Six to eight youth

o to update in all the nearby Degree and engineering colleges about the program

o to update in all the nearby youth in villages samithi’s about the program

o to update the program to all the district wise office bearers & office bearers in that

particular subzone

o Screen and finalize the videos to be projected that day (three to four swami’s video

songs)

o Badges, Banners and brochures



o Registration & procuring requirements etc

o Finalize the venue

• Two laptops, projector, screen, mike, speakers, generator etc.

Outcomes of the 90 day program:

• To finish the Sai Yuva Samarpanam’s in all the eight subzones of the district’s

• Core team and samithi wise youth coordinators list to be submitted to the state

committee

• Zone wise lists to be finalized and updated in the web portal

First SSSYS: Dorramamidi village, Jangareddy Gudem Subzone, W.G.Dt.

Pre SSSYS:

• The Brief outline of the program is finalized after consultation with subzone office

bearers (convener, three wings, convener of that particular samithi)

• Updated and took the approval from District President and Sevadal Coordinator

• A working committee is formed (youth from all subzones) and finalization of minute by

minute agenda (after getting it reviewed by District sevadal coordinator) is circulated to all

office bearers (document is sent by mail to district office bearers and thru SMS to all others )

• Subzone convener has announced about the SSSYS to all the samithi’s and bhajan

mandals in a Subzone wise meeting

• All the conveners have updated the youth coordinators about SSSYS

• Work distribution majority of the work to be taken by youth and the guidance to be

provided by local office bearers (currently majority of the tasks are taken up by elderly office

bearers)

• Prepared Multimedia kit (videos on swami’s spiritual, educare, medicare, water

projects etc)

• The youth shared different colleges between themselves and went to these colleges

with an elderly office bearer (with the office bearer, who shared the contact of the college

mangt)

• With the acceptance of the college management, have presented and interacted with

students from different classes/branches

• Registered interested students with their mail, blood group and mobile number

• Identified two to three coordinators from each college and made sure that the speaker

is in touch with them, to have an exact count of students attending (approached and

presented to 500, registered 250 and attended 50)

• Took stock of tasks and allocated responsibilities (Banners, Food sessions, Shamiana,

chairs, sound system, travel arrangement, arranging altar and its decoration, four days

before meet)• One day before we have SMS’d about the meet and called almost everyone and we

were expecting around 200 and almost 180 youth have come for the meet

• Majority of the above work was done by our elderly SSSO office bearers (seeing their

dedication youth have only helped them)

9:30-10 AM – The Registration and Breakfast (Scheduled to start at 9:00AM)

10 -10:30 AM – Bhajans and Jyothi Prajvalana

10:30 – 11AM – Introducing the chief guests, agenda of the day and speech by District President

11 – 1:00PM – Service activity - Parisubrathey Paramaavshadam (Cleaning the surroundings and

planting trees for Girijana Sankshema Primary Health care center)

1 – 2PM – Lunch Session

2 – 2:30PM - All the chief guests spoke on Gramaseva (Due to delay in arrival of prime speakers)

2:30 – 3:30PM – Introducing Youth to Sai Tatwam by Subrayulu Garu

3:30 – 4:30PM – Manavasevaye Madhavaseva, Gramasevaye Ramaseva talk by Vidyanath4:30 – 4:45PM – Interaction with youth on activities to be taken up, changes etc

4:45 – 5:00PM – Way ahead- Activities in JR gudem subzone and their responsible Coordinators

(7 new youth and 11 service coordinators have committed that they would allocate time

and for activities)

5:00PM – Vote of thanks and Mangala Harathi

Learning Outcomes:

• Two weeks of effort is required to efficiently execute the meet (three Sundays including the

meet day)

• Six youth from subzone are required to finish the activities (Going around colleges, following

up, other activities)• Four active elderly coordinators and one Service coordinator are required

• Service activities to be planned in such a way that enough work for each attended youth (can

include spiritual, educare, medical etc)

• Anchor and Two young speaker are required

• Only one Speech and more interactive sessions with youth

• Pamphlets to be circulated

• Video shows are required to make the program lively

• Token of gratitude, swamis photo to be given only to the invited speaker, service activity loca

Way forward in the subzone:

• The regular activities will continue Service, Educare and Spiritual

• Every Sunday activities will be planned by new youth, approved by zonal convener and

executed with the help of SSSO office bearers (seva in agency health care and pathasala

centers)- for the next three months

• Every Wednesday the youth will sit together and discuss about the next Sunday’s activity

• Various responsibilities will be shared between the youth (calling, mailing, mobilizing required

youth, planning, preparing the requirement n responsibility list)

• The above lists will be shared with office bearers for finalization and approval

• Take stock on the infrastructure on Saturday

• Start to the village as early 7AM execute the activity and start at around 1PM

• Breakfast to be provided by one of the sai family (regular r on shifts)

Way forward in the District:

• Planning for Sai Jyothi exhibitions in all the subzones (this will help us in creating awareness

among youth, elders and other family members). To start with Tanuku Subzone

• Finish the SSSYS meets in all the subzones as earliest as possible

•

Circulate the exact date of the each program (after consultation with the respective subzonecoordinators and youth)

• This will make sure every samithi is armed with one active youth and his team, subzone

having a bunch of strong knitted sai young sevaks

• By end of the 2011 each samithi will be having

o One adopted village

o An young Sai Army (youth, service, spiritual, educare coordinators with their own

active teams)
