From The Pastor’s Desk Dear Friends in Christ,

It was wonderful to see so many of you in person last weekend. It has been far too long! We are well aware that many of our faithful parishioners are choosing to stay home at this time. It is very important to remain prudent and make informed decisions for your health and the health of your loved ones. The dispensation from the obligation to attend Sunday Mass extends through July 5, 2020.

We could not have begun our gradual return without the hard work and dedication of our great staff and generous volunteers. My deep thanks to all of them for pulling it off. We are grateful for the opportunity to pray together once again. It went very smoothly.

We completed a Mass count at the Masses this weekend, and it is as follows (this includes clergy and staff):

Saturday: 4:00 p.m.- 111 6:00 p.m.- 41

Sunday 8:00 a.m.- 112 10:00 a.m.- 117 12:00 p.m.- 81 4:00 p.m.- 31

We will keep the schedule as is for the next few weeks. After that, we will reevaluate our needs and adjust accordingly.

Many people are eager to return to normal as soon as possible, but we must remember that this is a GRADUAL return. Activities will return in phases. For the time being, we cannot distribute Com-munion to the homebound (We don’t know when that will return), nor can we have daily Mass, Marian Devotions and Exposition. We will let you know as soon as we are able to return.

If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at the parish office, 421-2442.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

- Fr. Aaron

Notes For Attending Sunday Mass The temporary Mass schedule is as follows:

Saturday Masses will be held at 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Sunday Masses will be held at 8:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m., 12:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Sunday afternoon.

All faithful in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee are dispensed from the obligation of attending Mass through July 5, 2020. Please carefully consider your own health situation before attending Mass.

We ask all parishioners to park in the main parking lot and enter through the main church doors. This is to help monitor the capacity limits, which must be in place.

When entering the church and finding a seat, please always observe the social distancing guide-lines.

Consider bringing your own hand sanitizer and masks. As you enter the building, hand sanitizers will be in place at the doors for you to sanitize your hands. The Archdiocese encourages wearing a face mask in church.

Do not come to Mass if you are experiencing cold or flu-like symptoms.

Please note that Mass will be simple and brief. The archbishop has stressed that this is a gradual return to Sunday Mass. Things will not be as you are accustomed to. The important thing is our opportunity to return to corporate worship of Almighty God and the opportunity to receive Holy Communion.

When coming forward for Communion, please maintain the 6-foot social distancing guideline. Communion to the homebound will not be offered until further notice.

Following the conclusion of Mass please exit the church in an orderly fashion, maintaining social distancing. Since the church must be sanitized after each Mass, we ask that you do not linger in the Church or the Gathering Space.

Until further notice, Confessions will be heard on Saturdays at 3:30 p.m., in the Chapel. Please exit the church in an orderly fashion, maintaining social distance at all times.

We ask your continued prayers for an end to this Pandemic.

Live Stream Mass Ministry We are looking for six people to learn the set up for live streaming the Sunday Mass. There are a lot of technical people in our congrega-tion, and we would like to add this ministry to Sunday’s Mass at 10:00 a.m. Once we return back to church with the assembly, the live stream liturgy will take place at the 11:00 a.m. Mass. We are always open to new ideas to help improve and update our church equip-ment. Please email [email protected], for more information.

Volunteers Needed We are excited for the return to public Mass. It takes a lot of parish volunteers to help make this possible. We especially need help in the area of disinfecting the church after each Mass weekly.

This would entail wiping down all the pews and altar furniture. The parish will supply gloves and disinfectant. We are also hoping to supply masks upon availability. This type of cleaning will need to be done until we return to the reg-ular Mass schedule.

Your help is most appreciated and needed. If you are able to help at one Mass each week-end, please email Terry at the parish office at [email protected], or Kathy Jaeckels at [email protected].

May God bless our parish family, as we come together to make everyone feel safe when coming to church. -Terry, Director of Liturgy and Music

CRS Rice Bowl Returns Now that we are able to gather for Mass, please return your offerings to the table in the Gathering Space. God bless you for your generous response.

Prayer During A Health Crisis Compassionate and Loving Father, In the face of confusion and concern impart to us the calm of your presence. In You allow us to find hope and healing. Be with those who serve the sick and give them Your caring hands. Be with those who lead and give them Your Spirit of wisdom. Be with those who have fallen ill and give them Your comforting heart. Wrap your arms around our world and hold us in your love. Allow us at this time of trial to then serve as instruments of that love to all we meet. We ask this in Your Name. Amen. ©LPi

Question Of The Week Theme: The mystery of the Trinity - Father, Son, Holy Spirit. Question for Youth: The Trinity is celebrated today. How would you describe your relationship with God the Father? With Jesus? With the Spirit? Question for Adults: If you were to encourage the members of your own parish to live as a “community of love,” which is how we define the Trinity, how would you advise them to live? Use St. Paul’s list of exhortations as your starting point.

The Most Holy Trinity A well-choreographed dance can be truly inspirational. Each movement and step are interconnected, each contrib-uting a piece of the unfolding artistic story. The beholder is caught up in the rhythms, music, and gestures, realizing that none are dispensable and all are necessary. The same is true of the Divine Dance of the Trinity. Each Person plays a part, using unique gestures and movements that are connected to the other Divine Partners. They tell a story of love. Eve-ry movement and step is born of love and flows on into eternity. The Divine Dance never ends.

God the Creator powerfully, yet with gentle love, leads. Creating and recreating, birthing and sustaining, He dances with the compassion-ate incarnate Son, guided by the breath of the Holy Spirit. They are three distinct Persons but move as One. On one hand, the cascading flow of their Presence appears motionless, yet on the other, flows and moves with effortless attention. They share one heart, one goal, and one purpose and invite all of creation to join in their dance, their joy.

The energy of the Trinity flows through all created things. It is a dance of the heart, not of the mind. It has to be experienced, not dissected, and contemplated, not understood. We stand in awe of the Divine Dance and find ourselves watching in amazement all that God creates and sustains. The dance continues in the majesty of a moun-tain, the power and wonder of an ocean, and the vastness of the universe. It moves in the cry of a newborn infant and in the soul of one who has been forgiven. It flows in the cry for justice and in the wounds of the oppressed. It circles through the changing of seasons, the cycles of birth and death, and the wisdom that one acquires when they love God.

The Dance never ends. Its movements and rhythms go on forever. The Trinitarian Dance sustains all things, endures all things, and brings hope. You are invited to dance. Don’t just watch as if you were simply a spectator. Join in the dance and move as they move. ©LPi
