Our 2010-2011 Building Goals
•All students, staff and community will have a genuine sense of belonging at Munn Elementary School.
•All students and staff will be engaged in enrichment opportunities at Munn Elementary School.
•All students will show measured academic success at Munn Elementary School.

Strategic Objective 1 Each student will participate continuously, respectfully and willingly in improving community well being.Strategy 1: : We will continuously assess and align human, financial and physical resources necessary to achieve our strategic objectives enroute to our mission.
Munn BPT Goal 1: All students, staff and community will have a genuine sense of belonging at Munn Elementary School.
•The goal continues to be supported by our work with Rachel’s Challenge and Peaceful Buses. Together these initiatives create a culture of kindness and compassion and directly address the root problems of isolation, prejudice and bullying.
•June 2010 Munn “links” the entire building with over 3,000 acts of kindness and compassion and releases them at the Rachel’s Rally

• Fall 2010 we as a building re-committed ourselves to Rachel’s Challenge, continuing to build a positive learning environment based on the themes of kindness, compassion and added acceptance.• All Munn students and staff signed the ACCEPTANCE banner•SOAR assemblies devoted to celebrating students and staff modeling our themes• Staff sending students postcards to model/recognize kindness, compassion and acceptance.

Page TurnersPage Turners is a literature-based competition for students in grades 2nd-5th. Teams of multi-aged students prepare to answer questions by reading books and writing questions.

Monitoring Student Achievement
•All -K-5 classrooms are equipped with a SMARTBoard that are utilized throughout the day.
•All Munn teachers have received Instructional Whiteboard professional development training. • All Munn students receive a minimum of 45 minutes per week of technology instruction that supports Spencerport’s K-5 Technology Skills connected to the classroom curriculum.
• Building level professional development and release time is focused on further use and implementation of IT throughout daily instruction.
