• Students may use personal technological devices when permitted

Parent FAQsQ. What kind of homework should I expect?A. Creating Quizlets for vocabulary (Greek and Latin
roots/Literary Terms), studying for tests, reading assignments, and finishing unfinished classwork. Students will need to write his/her homework in his/her planner for the most up to date assignments.
Q. Do you accept late work?A. Students have 1 class period to turn in work for 50%,
unless they have a Late Pass. Projects receive 25% for each class period it is late.
Q. What can my child do to get extra help?A. Students can schedule a day to get help after school
or before school at 7:15 am (as long as they are not riding a bus). They can also email me if they have any questions or talk to me between classes.
Parent FAQsQ. How do I know if my child is turning in work? A. HAC (eSchool) will be updated weekly with
formative grades and slightly longer for summative grades. If you have any specific concerns, please email me.
Q. Do you offer Grade Recovery?A. Yes, students will need to complete a recovery packet and then schedule a recovery test before or after school. The grade they receive will replace the D or F. The test must be taken during that quarter.
Q. How do you suggest my child be more proactive about his/her grades?A. Yes, they need to check HAC on their own and
seek my help if they have any concerns. My door is open to any of their questions!
