1) Simple - Owner-based, few employees, tasks, responsibilities, & communication highly informal

2) Functional - Functional groups tasks, people, & technologies

3) Divisional - Strategic business unit (SBU)

4) Matrix - Personnel functional and staff, assigned to both basic function & project / product

5) Product-Team - Product or process teams with primary responsibilities i.e. R&D, engineering, sales and marketing, finance, & operations
