Lessons FAQQ: Will I have the same lessons I have had in the First School?

A: Yes but at Brewood we have special rooms such as the Science Laboratory, an Art room, a Design and Technology area, a Music room and Computer suites, so you will not stay in your own classroom all of the time. You will have your teacher for maths, English, core and some other subjects.

Q: Are the teachers strict?

A: They do expect you to be polite, behave properly and to always do your best. We have the school non-negotiables, which we do expect all pupils to follow. We will go through these in September.

General FAQQ: If I have any problems what do I do?

A: Please tell someone about it. Your form teacher is the first person you should talk to. If you do not want to tell the teacher, tell a prefect or a friend and they can let your teacher know. You can also speak to Mrs Clews.

Make sure someone knows if you are worrying about anything then we can help you sort it out. We are also introducing a new, online reporting system called ‘Reach Out’. Your form teacher will tell you more about this in September.

Q: What do I do on the first day?

A: Go on to the playground and wait with your friends. Your teacher will be there. When the whistle blows, make your way into school. You will soon start the timetable and then we hope you will really feel like a Brewood C E (C) Middle Academy pupil!
