COMMUNICATIONCOMMUNICATION
Despite my best attempts to be comprehensive, I know the beginning of the year can be somewhat overwhelming (especially if you have just moved from overseas). Please, please, please do not hesitate to ask questions if you need clarification about something.
FACE-TO-FACE: On most days, I am available to meet with parents informally between 8.00 and 8.15 as well as after school (the exception being Wednesdays). However, if you feel we need more than a few minutes, please make an appointment with me.
E-MAIL: I check my e-mail at least twice a day (before and after school) and will respond to you as soon as possible. E-mail address: [email protected]
BLOG: I will be posting most communication with parents using a blog. http://blog.mkis.edu.my/abrady/
MKIS WEBSITE: http://www.mkis.edu.my/ The website is comprehensive. Click on the Parent/students links tab on the left side to access THE LINK ~ the school-wide weekly newsletter.

My philosophyMy philosophy
I am not simply responsible for teaching students third grade, but for preparing them for life.
Hence, responsibilities, rewards, and consequences are an important part of the classroom.
“It takes a village to raise a child.”
