    You must have your agenda and binderwith youin order to be able to use the restroom.

    You must fill out a line of the bathroom log to beinitialed by the teacher

    Bathroom breaks will only be allowed during

    Independent Practice time. NOT while Mr. Luneau is giving instructions or leading

    a lesson

    Breaks are given at the teachers discretion

    Quizzes = 10%

    Homework = 20% Classwork = 25%

    Exams will have multiple choice, short answer, and

    open response portions 20-25 multiple choice questions

    3-5 short answer questions

    Each unit will start off with a brief pre-test Well measure the post-test against this to see how

    Always completed during class time.

    The teacher will let you know if an assignment is

    being graded. Most of them are.

    You will have many classwork assignments.

    Completing them is important, but completing afew classwork assignments will not bring up yourgrade much if you have missingprojects/tests/homework.

    You will receive a weekly participation grade

    out of 10 points.

    Posted on PowerSchool andon the Class Grades

    board.

    You will be graded based on completion of

    assignments, participation in discussion, andattentiveness in class.

    Projects/Essays/Etc.

    Each unit will have one DBQ (Document BasedQuestion) project contained within it.

    Other smaller writing assignments will begiven throughout units.

    These will not be as frequent asquizzes/classwork/homework. Zeros in thiscategory are very bad for your grade.

    Late Work Policy

    Homework & Projects will be accepted late for

    reduced credit. Each school day that an

    assignment is handed in late will result in a

    10% reduction in your grade.

    Assignments will not be accepted if they are

    more than 3 days late.

    Extra Help

    I will be after school until 5pm on Tuesdays

    and Thursdays. If you need extra help on

    assignments or to prepare for a quiz/test, this

    is a great time to see me.

    Exit Procedure

    5 minutes before class is over, I will announce

    that it is time to wrap up. Pass forward any assignments to be turned in

    Collect your things (binder/agenda/pencils/etc)

    I will call on students by row to line up at thedoor.

    Rows that are quiet and ready to go will be called on

    first. When all rows are lined up and I give the signal,

    youll exit and head to your next class with Ms.
